The heat recovery involves taking the heat into a pipe system (3) with a fluid (6) in it. This fluid should reach the consumer at 35-40 deg C with hardly any need for a heat pump, but at less than 30 deg C, a heat pump (1) will be required. Automatic temperature-dependent bypass valves are fitted so that the pump is only used when necessary. The main pipes in the system are calibrated in accordance with consumer requirements, and have cooling fins.

Angle supports (14) are inserted to prevent flooding problems over long large river sectors, the supports being series-produced by the building industry and thus in plentiful supply. The supports (14) are faced on the water side by film waterproof matting (15) to seal them and the excavated ground material processed on site and used for further dyke reinforcement. In floods the dyke presents a wetted surface to the water and a dry part to land side. Connecting elements (21) are welded together and sealed so the supports (14) join up to present a continuous plank effect along the waterway.

The working surface (2), a panel of stainless steel, is for working the dough. It is cooled from about 30degreesC to about 4-5degreesC with a tolerance of 1-2degreesC (above or below). A cooler casing (3) is installed just below the working surface and has insulation lower down, to direct all the cooling effect to the working surface. Electricity is supplied using a protected plug (11) and cable (10) to the on/off switch. A temperature controller and time switch are included in the cabinet (5) which also contains a compressor, to supply a conventional refrigeration circuit. A spacer (8) holds a safe spacing between the refrigerator condenser (7) and wall.
