The present invention relates to acrylic emulsion polymers as well as to their use in hair care preparations such as in particular in hair styling preparations. 1. A process for the preparation of acrylic emulsion polymers comprising subjecting a monomer composition consisting of a mixture of methacrylic acid , ethyl acrylate and n-butyl methacrylate to emulsion polymerization.2.
