A process for preparing grit blasting particles coated with titanium dioxide by sinter-fusing titanium dioxide on the surface of grit blasting particles made of a base material. A mixture of finely divided titanium dioxide and grit blasting particles is passed continuously through the flame in a flame reactor, with the aid of conveying air, wherein the titanium dioxide is sinter-fused on the surface of the grit blasting particles over an average residence time of 0.1 to 5 seconds in a temperature range from 600 to 1200° C. An increase in the adhesive bond between metal framework and a facing material made of plastics in dentures can be achieved when metal framework is grit blasted with a grit blasting agent containing titanium dioxide coated grit blasting particles and then the grit blasted and titanium dioxide coated surface is treated with a silane bonding agent.

DOLLAR A Durch diese Ausgestaltung wird erreicht, daß die Einstellung der Düsennadel (5) und damit des Öffnungsquerschnittes der Zerstäuberdüse (4) durch Begrenzung des Hubes des Abzugbügels (14) auf einfache Weise und in kurzer Zeit vorzunehmen ist. Durch Anlage des Abzugbügels (14) an dem Anschlag (21) ist nämlich die jeweilige Lage der Düsennadel (5) erkennbar, so daß auf das zu verarbeitende Medium abgestimmte Einstellungen leicht zu wiederholen sind.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von mit Titandioxid beschichteten Strahlpartikeln durch Aufsintern von Titandioxid auf die Oberfläche von Strahlpartikeln aus einem Basismaterial. Dabei wird ein Gemisch aus feinteiligem Titandioxid und Strahlpartikeln mit Hilfe von Förderluft kontinuierlich durch die Flamme eines Flammreaktors leitet, wobei bei einer mittleren Verweilzeit von 0,1 bis 5 Sekunden in einem Temperaturbereich von 600 bis 1200 °C das Titandioxid auf der Oberfläche der Strahlpartikel aufsintert. Eine Erhöhung des Haftverbundes zwischen Metallgerüst und Verblendwerkstoff aus Kunststoff in Zahnersatz läßt sich erreichen, wenn man das Metallgerüst mit einem aus erfindungsgemäß mit Titandioxid beschichteten Strahlpartikeln bestehendem Strahlmittel strahlt und anschließend die gestrahlte und mit Titandioxid beschichtet Oberfläche mit einem Silan-Haftvermittler behandelt.

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Zinkoxidpulver, umfassend die Schritte a) Erzeugen eines Zinkdampf enthaltenden Stromes in einer Verdampfungszone b) Oxidation des Zinkdampfes durch Reaktion mit einem Sauerstoff enthaltenden Gas unter Bildung von Zinkoxidpulver in einer Oxidationszone, c) Abkühlung des Reaktionsgemisches mittels Wasser oder eines Inertgases und Abtrennung des Zinkoxidpulvers in einer Abkühlungs-/Isolierungszone, wobei man aa) in der Verdampfungszone ein Gasstrom aus einem Inertgas und einem Brenngas durch eine Zinkschmelze, die eine Temperatur von 750°C bis 850°C aufweist, unter Bildung von Zinkdampf leitet, wobei der Anteil an Brenngas 1 bis 50 Vol.-%, bezogen auf die Summe von Inertgas und Brenngas, beträgt und wobei der molare Quotient von Zinkdampf zu Brenngas 0,01 bis 50, beträgt und bb) in der Oxidationszone zu dem Gasstrom aus Zinkdampf, Brenngas und Inertgas einen zweiten Gasstrom gibt, der ein Sauerstoff enthaltendes Gas und Wasserdampf umfasst, in einer Menge gibt, dass die Temperatur in der Oxidationszone 500 bis 1100°C beträgt, wobei - der Gehalt an Sauerstoff wenigstens ausreicht um alles Brenngas aus der Verdampfungszone und den Zinkdampf umzusetzen, der Wasserdampf durch die Reaktion eines Brenngases mit dem Sauerstoff enthaltenden Gas erzeugt wird, das in die Oxidationszone geführt wird.
