The method comprises the following steps: 1) cellulose is used for treating cactus to degrade cell walls and obtain a cell lysate; 2) killing enzyme is carried out for the cell lysate obtained in Step 1, then the solution is allowed to stand and the upper clear liquid is taken; 3) the pH value of the upper clear liquid obtained in Step 2 is regulated to 4.2, then active carbon is added into the liquid, the mixture is stirred and filtered, filtrate is collected and a cactus extract is obtained; and 4) ion exchange chromatography is carried out to the cactus extract obtained in Step 3 to carry out desalination and decoloring, an effluent liquid is collected and the plant desensitizer is obtained. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for specifically and efficiently discriminating a two-row nature or a six-row nature and scab resistance associated with a two-row- or six-row-natured gene for a barley plant. SOLUTION: Using a backcross separation generation of a two-row-natured barley variety and a six-row-natured barley variety, the row nature of these individuals is discriminated accurately. As a result, the row nature is found to represent monogenic control. By using a molecular marker associated with the gene, it is found that six-row nature or two-row nature can be discriminated for an examined barley plant.
