The invention proposes a novel automatic product feed system in which, in order to control the product feed functions using a mechanical probe (8) in the product feed path, an analog signal is produced and at least another digital signal adjustable independently of the analog signal is generated and used for the automatic product feed system. It is thus possible, even with minimum electronics up to the highest stage of computer control, to provide all previously known control and regulation functions connected with the product feed or to optimise the milling conditions, possibly with external digital signals for various stage adjustments and with very simple automatic components. In addition, it proposes a corresponding process for milling with a mill roller frame (1).

The invention relates to a roller mill for grounding cereals or the like, comprising a driving mechanism operated by straps (9) for effecting varying rotation speeds. The invention aims at ensuring a constant tension of the straps (9) and consequently a smooth operation of said straps (9). For this purpose, a disc (18) of a tension roller (8) has separately adjustable sections (14, 15).

A compressed air supply system consists of a Rootes blower (2) driven by a belt from an electric motor (4). The air delivery silencer (10) which is of round, oval or elliptical cross-section forms a mounting platform for the blower and motor. The silencer consists of three parts, a resonant chamber (7), a sound absorbing chamber (8) and a second resonant chamber (9). The resonant chambers extend over the full cross-section of the silencer body. The sound absorbing chamber has an inner wall formed by a perforated tube (13) with a layer of sound absorbing material between the tube and the outer wall of the silencer. The sound absorbing material consists of a layer of non-combustible fibre which is between 3 and 15 cm thick.

The present invention relates to a roller pulverizer for milling corn such as wheat, rye or corn, especially a eight rollers pulverizer. The rollers (4, 6) of each roller couple which rotate more rapidly are driven by drive motor (11) through straps (8, 9). In order to tense at least one strap (9) flexibly, the straps (8, 9) are installed side by side on a movable and/or wabbly drive disk (10) of the drive motor (11).

The cylinder mill has at least one pair of cylinders in the form of a cylinder packet installed on or in a base frame (1). The stub end of each cylinder is supported in bearing components installed on frame supports (4). One frame support on one end is guided by a double cone (11), and at its other end is fixed on the base frame by means of a clamping jaw (16). A mating component (14) is installed on the base frame below the end of the base frame facing the clamping jaw. The locating faces (10) of the frame support and mating piece for the clamping jaws are inclined preferably by 45 degrees.

The roller assembly, for grinding corn into flour, has rollers in pairs in a housing with a faster powered roller (4,6) in each pair with idle rollers (5,7). The drive belts (8,9), for the roller drive disks (2,3), are side by side at the drive disk (10) of a sliding and/or swing motor (11).

The stripper has a pivotable blade beam accommodating a blade with clamp elements distributed along its length to press a blade edge (5) against the surface of the roller (1,2) with slight elastic deformation and a beam counterweight (18). The blade beam is pivotably mounted in a frame of the mill by journals (7) on both sides and is connected to an engagement and disengagement cylinder (14) via a lever and clamp system (9-13). A cylinder mill for grinding grains and other granular products includes an overdrive mechanism for effecting varying rotation speeds. The overdrive mechanism includes a belt tightener and tightening pulley. The tightening pulley has two sections that are separately adjustable to achieve different tightnesses. This permits an essentially constant tension in the belts comprising the overdrive mechanism such that the belts can operate smoothly.

AUTOMATIC PRODUCT FEEDING DEVICE AND PROCEDURE FOR CONTROLLING A MILLING CYLINDER MILL.

The invention proposes a novel automatic product feed in which an analog signal is formed and at least one other digital signal which is adjustable independently of the analog signal is generated and used for the automatic product feed for supervising the product feed functions by a mechanical probe (8) in the product flow. In this way, all previously known controlling and regulating functions can be realized with a minimum of electronics or at the highest level of computer control as a function of the product feed or for optimizing the grinding conditions, possibly with externally initiated digital signals for various stage adjustments and with the use of very simple automatic component means. The invention further proposes a corresponding method for grinding with a milling roller mill (1).
