The invention discloses a method for preparing a carbon-nanotube epoxy-resin composite material. The method comprises the following steps: (1) adding an acid mixture of concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid into multi-walled carbon nanotubes, soaking for 3-7 hours, then, taking out, washing with distilled water, carrying out suction filtration by a vacuum pump until filtrate is neutral, and then, baking the multi-walled carbon nanotubes in a baking oven for later use, wherein the baking is not stopped until the weight of the multi-walled carbon nanotubes is constant; (2) adding epoxy resin, a dispersant and acetone into the multi-walled carbon nanotubes treated in the step (1), then, carrying out ultrasonic dispersion for 10-30 minutes, then, adding a curing agent and acetone, and carrying out ultrasonic dispersion for 20-40 minutes, thereby preparing the carbon-nanotube epoxy-resin composite material disclosed by the invention.
