A new and distinct variety of plant named ‘SAKPET098’ as described and illustrated herein. Genus and species:Variety denomination: ‘SAKPET098’.The present invention comprises a new and distinct variety of plant, botanically known as , and referred to by the variety name ‘SAKPET098variety ‘SAKPET098’ originated from a hybridization in Kakegawa, Japan in June 2010. The female parent was a proprietary line named ‘9BCR-49a’ (unpatented), and the male parent was a proprietary line named ‘9BCR-27-V2’.In June 2010, ‘9BCR-49a’ and ‘9BCR-27-V2’ were crossed and 5,000 seeds were obtained. In February 2011, 50 F1 seeds were sown in the greenhouse and 30 plants were cultivated which produced flower colors of violet and white star-pattern, and blue and magenta with mounding and semi-mounding plant habits. In June 2011, 3 plants were selected which had violet star-patterned bi-colored flowers and a semi-mounding plant habit. Directional drilling is carried out by orienting and positioning a whipstock having a curved guide surface at a predetermined rotational angle with respect to the desired azimuth so as to compensate for lateral deviation of the original bore or rathole. The curved guide surface of the whipstock is given a radius of curvature in a longitudinal direction corresponding to that of the drainhole section radius and is provided with a concave face in a transverse direction which defines lateral wings along the guide surface to control the advancement of the drilling tool along the desired course and avoid objectionable helixing. Proper orientation and guidance of the drill tool by means of the radius whipstock as described permits accurate determination of the drainhole orientation vertical drill distance between the zenith and nadir of the drainhole as well as the actual drilled depth between those points.

Improved backplane power connection system

Номер: WO1983002521A1
Принадлежит: Elxsi

A backplane power distribution system for making connections to the power planes of a computer system and having the capability of handling very high levels of current. This is achieved with a stepped backplane construction (17b-e). For example, in a multiple layer system having, in order, a first conductive layer (10a), a first dielectric layer (12a, 12b), a second conductive layer (10b), a second dielectric layer (12bc), and so on, each successive conductive and dielectric layers extend transversely beyond the preceding layers to present a substantial exposed area on all but the first conductive layer (17b-e). Typically, rectangular metal bus bars (not shown) are bolted to the backplane using plated through holes (20b-e) to make contact with the exposed areas (17b-e). Holes through the layers are provided and prepared such that each hole (15, 20 and 22) may make contact with a particular conductive layer as desired or in the case of ground with all ground conductive layers. Conductive layers (10a) and (10i) may be used as signal layers utilizing traces (14) and holes (15) while layers (10b-h) are so-called power planes.

The tie-back collar of an inner casing is provided with a protector sleeve which is sealed in place and supported against rotation. To temporarily abandon the well after the annulus between the inner and an outer string has been fully cemented up past the tie-back collar, the inner and outer strings are severed with a casing cutter above the tie-back collar. When tying back into the well, a spear may be used to retrieve the remaining part of the protector and a thread-in or stab-in tie-back sub may then be connected to the inner string to reestablish communication with the well.

A labeling apparatus comprises a separation member configured to promote detachment of an adhesive label from liner web. Adhesive labels are fed to the separation member such that a surface of the facestock contacts the separation member. The separation member has a surface exhibiting a tack such that the tack force between the facestock and the separation member is greater than the release force between the release liner and the adhesive layer of the labels. The labels become associated with the separation member, and the label is applied to a surface of a substrate by contacting the exposed adhesive layer with a surface of a substrate, which causes the adhesive label to detach from the separation member.

A reusable pad

Номер: CA3154043A1
Принадлежит: Standard Textile Co Inc

A textile for use as a reusable pad, e.g., a reusable incontinence pad, is provided that is intended to wick and retain moisture or liquid(s), such as bodily fluids (e.g., urine, blood, etc.), away from users of their incontinence pad. Moisture or liquid deposited on an upper surface of the incontinence pad is wicked through one or more layers of material included in the incontinence pad via an increasing capillary gradient using capillary forces. The incontinence pad relies on capillary forces to drive moisture from the incontinent person into the inner layer(s) of the incontinence pad, and leaving a top layer of the incontinence pad dry to the touch. A gradient of capillary size can be present in the incontinence pad in a direction away from the incontinent person, which accordingly encourages liquid to migrate away from the incontinent person and be desirably retained therein.

Preferably installed in the well head, the valve incorporates a differential pressure-operated piston exposed to a fluid pressure supply on one side for maintaining the valve in an open condition when desired and exposed to subterranean pressures on the opposite side, so that when the subterranean pressure rises above a predetermined amount the valve closes. The valve may be economically installed in existing wells, e.g. offshore dual wells on multiple well platforms to provide internal blowout and anti-fire protection for wells which presently have no effective positive closure for shutting in the well in an emergency, such as an incipient blowout or a fire.

Deicing fluid recovery system especially adapted for aircraft deicing apparatus

Номер: US5904321A
Принадлежит: Glyrecsys Inc

A deicing fluid recovery system for aircraft deicing apparatus includes a storage tank from which a deicing fluid/water deicing mixture is pumped through a line heater to a deicing fluid distribution and collection zone for application to the wings and fuselage of aircraft. Expended deicing fluid is collected in a drainage system incorporated into a concrete or asphalt pad and directed to a sump. Upon accumulation of a sufficient quantity, the diluted used deicing fluid is pumped to a sludge tank. Solids and free water are separated by settling and filtration processes in the sludge tank. The filtered deicing fluid mixture is heated through sequential heat exchangers and directed to a regenerator. The deicing fluid mixture is leaned by a dehydration process in the regenerator in which the mixture is heated and compressed air is injected to exhaust water from a stripping column. The lean deicing fluid flows over an overflow weir into an accumulator. The heated and leaned deicing fluid mixture then is passed back through the sequential heat exchangers, as a heat source, and pumped back into the storage tank for subsequent reuse.
