In accordance with the present invention, by using a resin composition including lignin and a curing agent in which the lignin is soluble in an organic solvent and contained in the resin composition in an amount of from 10 to 90% by mass, there are provided a molded product and a composite molded product which are obtained from plant resources as a main raw material and to which a good flame retardance and a good antibacterial property are imparted. 1. A resin composition comprising lignin and a curing agent , 1 g of the lignin being soluble at 25° C. in 10 mL of at least one organic solvent selected from the group consisting of acetone , cyclohexanone and tetrahydrofuran , and 1 g of the lignin also being soluble at from 50° to 70° C. in 10 mL of at least one organic solvent selected from the group consisting of methanol , ethanol and methyl ethyl ketone , the lignin being contained in the resin composition in an amount of from 10 to 90% by mass ,wherein the lignin has a weight-average molecular weight of from 1800 to 5000,wherein a content of a sulfur atom in the lignin is 0.5% by mass or less, andwherein the lignin is obtained by treating a plant raw material by a method utilizing a separation technique using water.2. A resin composition comprising lignin and a curing agent , 1 g of the lignin being soluble at 25° C. in 10 mL of at least one organic solvent selected from the group consisting of acetone , cyclohexanone and tetrahydrofuran , and 1 g of the lignin also being soluble at from 50° to 70° C. in 10 mL of at least one organic solvent selected from the group consisting of methanol , ethanol and methyl ethyl ketone , the lignin being contained in the resin composition in an amount of from 30 to 90% by mass ,wherein the lignin has a weight-average molecular weight of from 1800 to 5000,wherein a content of a sulfur atom in the lignin is 0.5% by mass or less, andwherein the lignin is obtained by treating a plant raw material by a method utilizing a separation ...
