Provided are methods for reducing the size of solid particles based on surprising results that storage with molecular sieves for a period of time can significantly reduce particle sizes. The solid particles may comprise an inclusion complex of a molecular encapsulating agent and a cyclopropene compound. The method comprises mixing a collection of the solid particles with molecular sieves and storing the mixture for a period of time. 1.
