The present invention relates to an air conditioner, which can maintain pleasant indoor temperature and humidity by performing cooling and heating at a low wind speed and a control method thereof, prevent condensation by operating a blast fan based on time and temperature when the blast fan of the air conditioner is stopped, and realize a dehumidification function to reduce accompanying cooling effect.
