The invention provides a source driver and a driving device using the same. The source driver comprises a programmable core circuit, N output buffer circuits and N operating voltage selection circuits. The programmable core circuit has N data channels, and each output buffer circuit receives a signal output by the data channel. The programmable core circuit selects M data channels according to a control signal for allocating display data to other data channels. The programmable core circuit also makes the corresponding M output buffer circuit output M grid pulses in turn, make corresponding M operating voltage selection circuits output first operating voltages to the corresponding M output buffer circuits and make other operating voltage selection circuit output second operating voltages to other output buffer circuits. The source driver and the driving device can be used very flexibly and save cost.
