A sub-pixel disparity cost volume which contains initial cost values of dissimilarity calculated between the pixel values on a standard image of a plurality of parallax images and the interpolated sub-pixel values on the counterpart image or images other than said standard image is prepared for a plurality of parallax images of objects in a three-dimensional structure composed of horizontal, vertical and disparity axes. Noise signals on the calculated cost values in the sub-pixel disparity cost volume are eliminated by using an edge-preserving filter which allocates bigger weights between two cost values whose pixel coordinates have similar pixel values on the standard image, for preserving edges or boundaries of the objects. A sub-pixel disparity is selected, which gives the minimum cost value in the specific disparity range around a previously-given initial pixel-wise or sub-pixel disparity at each pixel coordinate on the standard image. Thus the distance to the objects is estimated from the computed disparity. Precise disparity can be computed by preparing a sub-pixel disparity cost volume and then computing the sub-pixel resolution disparity. Further, the necessary processing time can be reduced by parallel computation manner. 1. One or both of status detecting sensors 52, 53 for detecting different statuses of the bearing assembly 51 other than rotation such as temperature and vibration occurring in the bearing assembly 51 may be additionally employed. A signal coordinating unit 104 may also be used for coordinating the respective sensor outputs from the rotation detecting sensor and the status detecting sensors to enable those sensor outputs to be transmitted wireless by the transmitting unit 105.

The dental and oralogic composition contains a photocatalytic titanium oxide or its precursor; at least one selected from silicon compounds such as tetraalkoxysilanes, silicone resins and their precursors and silica; and a liquid medium; or it contains a photocatalytic titanium oxide or its precursor and a liquid medium. The method for oral and dental care comprises applying the composition to teeth, gums, oral mucous membranes or dental materials in the mouth, or applying the composition to dental materials not in the mouth, to thereby fix photocatalytic titanium oxide on them or form a photocatalytic titanium oxide-containing film on them.

Provided are an antibacterial bonding compositions for dental use, which comprises (A) an antibacterial primer that comprises an antibacterial polymerizable monomer having an ethylenic unsaturated group and at least one or more cationic groups selected from the group consisting of ammonium bases, pyridinium bases and phosphonium bases, and a volatile solvent, and (B) an adhesive composition comprising an acid group-having polymerizable monomer, a polymerizable monomer, and a polymerization initiator; and an adhesive compositions for dental use, which comprises (P) an adhesive primer comprising an acid group-having polymerizable monomer, a hydrophilic polymerizable monomer, and water, and (Q) a bonding agent comprising a polymerizable monomer, and an acylphosphine oxide compound and an α-diketone compound both serving as a polymerization initiator. The bonding compositions can inhibit the growth of cariogenic bacteria in the bonded area of a tooth as restored with a restorative dental material in dental treatment thereby preventing secondary caries and odontitis around that area, and can enhance the bonding strength, especially the bonding durability of the restorative dental material to the tooth.
