The invention relates to a sensor (1), suitable for EEG measurements, having a sensor housing (4) and at least one transducer (2) with a transducer tip (22), wherein the transducer (2), on an underside of the sensor housing (4), protrudes partially from the sensor housing (4), and the transducer tip (22) is spring-mounted with at least one spring element (6, 61) in such a way that, when pressure is applied, the transducer tip (22) is moved from a starting position in the direction towards the sensor housing (4) and, when the pressure is removed, moves back again to the starting position, wherein an envelope (3) made of absorbent material for taking up liquid is arranged on the underside of the sensor housing (4) and surrounds the transducer (2), and, when pressure is applied to the transducer tip (22), the latter is moved into the envelope (3).
