The technique further includes regulating a timing of the group activations based at least in part on a slip time and a minimum group spacing distance.

This invention relates to a film comprising a machine direction oriented polymeric film prepared from (A) at least one propylene homopolymer or copolymer or lend of two or more thereof, wherein (A) has a melt flow rate from about 6 to about 30 and (B) an olefin elastomer having a melt flow rate of 0.5 to 10. In one embodiment, the film also contains a nucleating agent. In one embodiment, these films are clear. The films have good stiffness and clarity with low haze. These films are useful in preparing labels and may be used as a monolayer film or in a multilayer film. In one embodiment, the films are printable. Die-cut labels are also described which comprise a composite comprising the extruded, machine-direction oriented polypropylene copolymer films of the present invention in combination with an adhesive associated with said copolymer films for adhering said label to a substrate. Multilayer composites also are described which comprise a label facestock material comprising an extruded oriented multilayer film of the present invention, an adhesive layer associated with said facestock material, and a release-coated liner or carrier. Combinations of the labels of the present invention joined with layer of adhesive to a substrate such as glass bottles also are described.

Water-activated linerless adhesive articles and related methods

Water-activatable, linerless adhesive articles and related methods are described. The adhesive articles utilize a dry, non-tacky protective layer for protecting the adhesive layer from contamination and therefore do not require a release liner. The protective layer includes at least one of amorphous polyvinyl alcohol and poly(ethylene oxide). The adhesive articles are bonded to a substrate by applying a polar solvent, such as water, to the protective layer, which mix to form a tacky material. The tacky material forms a weak, temporary bond with the substrate and allows the adhesive articles to be repositioned on the substrate. Method and apparatus for setting breakpoints when debugging integrated executables in a heterogeneous architecture

The present invention provides inserting and deleting a breakpoint in a parallel processing system. A breakpoint is inserted in a module loaded into the execution environment of an attached processor unit. The breakpoint can be inserted directly. Furthermore, the unloaded image of the module can also have a breakpoint associated with it. The breakpoint can be inserted directly into the module image, or a breakpoint request can be generated, and the breakpoint is inserted when the module is loaded into the execution environment of the attached processor unit.

Print recording apparatus having modular autoduplex mechanism

A modular duplex media handling system is installable for use with a print recording system having a simplex media handling system. During first side printing a media sheet is fed along a first media path in the simplex system from feed rollers to metering rollers and into a print zone. After first side printing and prior to releasing the media sheet, the metering rollers feed the media sheet back along the first media path to the feed rollers. The feed rollers in turn feed the media sheet completely into the duplex module where the media moves along a loop path (in effect flipping the media sheet). The media sheet then is fed back to the feed rollers and along the first media path for second side printing. A humidity sensor in the duplex module signals to the print recording system whether the duplex handling system is installed.

The present invention is directed to novel nucleic acid molecules and methods for their use. More specifically, the novel nucleic acid molecules of the present invention are capable of tightly and specifically interacting with a target molecule of interest not only through standard Watson-Crick base pairing, but also through additional fetaures which allow the antisense molecules to become topologically "locked" onto the target nucleic acid, thereby imparting improved transcription and translation inhibitory properties.

Facing unit construction

A facing unit construction is adapted for mounting facing units on a structure, such as a roof or a wall. The facing units can comprise various suitable materials, including slate, wood, tile, metal, concrete, ceramic and plastic. Center channel spacers are mounted on the structure and provide outwardly-projecting ribs for positioning the facing units and inwardly-open channels for draining water from underneath the facing units. Clip assemblies are also mounted on the structure and include flanges for capturing the facing unit upper edges and hooks for receiving the facing unit lower edges. The hooks can also extend through receivers in the facing units and can be provided with snow guards. The clip assembly base clips can be configured for automatically aligning nailing equipment. The facing units, spacers and clips form courses on the structure, which overlap for gravity discharge of water.
