A field serviceable assembly includes a frame with a first and second gasket located along the front and rear perimeters thereof and a first and second electronic display assembly hingedly mounted thereto in a back to back arrangement. A gap is located between a transparent layer and an electronic display in each electronic display assembly. A cavity is defined by the space between the first and second electronic display assemblies and has a plate for receiving a plurality of electronic components. The cavity and the gaps form a substantially sealed closed loop when the first and second electronic display assemblies are placed in the closed position.

The net effect of the fluid dynamics at the entrance to the core is that SMA wires at the exterior of the bundle activate before wires on the interior of the bundle.

Water-activatable, linerless adhesive articles and related methods are described. The adhesive articles utilize a dry, non-tacky protective layer for protecting the adhesive layer from contamination and therefore do not require a release liner. The protective layer includes at least one of amorphous polyvinyl alcohol and poly(ethylene oxide). The adhesive articles are bonded to a substrate by applying a polar solvent, such as water, to the protective layer, which mix to form a tacky material. The tacky material forms a weak, temporary bond with the substrate and allows the adhesive articles to be repositioned on the substrate. The tacky material gradually pools together at the substrate/adhesive article interface to expose the underlying adhesive layer. The exposed adhesive layer then forms a permanent bond with the substrate.

It includes a horizontal first pair of parallel members, which pair defines an elongate trough that concurrently receives one end of a rigid spanner bar and a linked one end of an associated band tensioning means. Upon curling movement of the grippable means toward the user torso, the spanner bar and the operatively linked tensioning means provide the counter resistance which allows for a smoother range of arcuate arm motion for the exerciser. A chest-initiated movement involves the chest moving towards the user lap for abdominals exercise and a hand-initiated movement involves the leg oriented cross bar moving towards the user's chest.

Methods, apparatus and tools to be used with tubular expansion apparatus. In one aspect of the invention, tools are actuated or operated within a well by selectively expanding the tool wall. To actuate the tool, the tool wall is urged outward past its elastic limits. The expanding wall physically unlocks a locking ring which then unlocks a piston. Thereafter, hydraulic pressure differences are employed to move the piston to operate the downhole tool. In another aspect of the invention, a first piece of casing is joined to a second, larger diameter casing. By expanding the diameter of the first piece of casing into contact with the second piece of casing, the two are joined together. The joint is formed with helical formations in a manner that provides flow paths around the intersection of the two members for the passage of cement or other fluid.

A modular duplex media handling system is installable for use with a print recording system having a simplex media handling system. During first side printing a media sheet is fed along a first media path in the simplex system from feed rollers to metering rollers and into a print zone. After first side printing and prior to releasing the media sheet, the metering rollers feed the media sheet back along the first media path to the feed rollers. The feed rollers in turn feed the media sheet completely into the duplex module where the media moves along a loop path (in effect flipping the media sheet). The media sheet then is fed back to the feed rollers and along the first media path for second side printing. A humidity sensor in the duplex module signals to the print recording system whether the duplex handling system is installed.

A facing unit construction is adapted for mounting facing units on a structure, such as a roof or a wall. The facing units can comprise various suitable materials, including slate, wood, tile, metal, concrete, ceramic and plastic. Center channel spacers are mounted on the structure and provide outwardly-projecting ribs for positioning the facing units and inwardly-open channels for draining water from underneath the facing units. Clip assemblies are also mounted on the structure and include flanges for capturing the facing unit upper edges and hooks for receiving the facing unit lower edges. The hooks can also extend through receivers in the facing units and can be provided with snow guards. The clip assembly base clips can be configured for automatically aligning nailing equipment. The facing units, spacers and clips form courses on the structure, which overlap for gravity discharge of water.
