Verfahren zur Herstellung der Enantiomere der 2-substituierten-beta-Aminosäuren, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass - Nitroacrylsäureester mit - Trialkylaluminiumverbindungen - in Gegenwart von katalytischen Mengen - eines Kupfersalzkomplexes - mit 0,2 mol% bis maximal 1 mol% einer Phosphorverbindung des Binaphthyls - in aprotischen Lösungsmitteln - bei Temperaturen unter 0°C - umgesetzt werden und - das entstehende Additionsprodukt in an sich bekannter Weise - hydriert wird, - der Ester verseift und abgespalten wird und - das Endprodukt durch Kristallisation gereinigt und gewonnen wird.

Verfahren zu Herstellung 2-arylsubstituierter beta-Aminosäurederivate, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß – 3,3-Dimethoxy-1-nitro-propen – mit Arylboronsäuren – in Gegenwart katalytischer Mengen eines Rhodium(I)salzes – mit oder ohne Zusatz von chiralen oder achiralen Liganden – in Mischungen aus organischen Lösungsmitteln und wäßrigen Puffern – im pH-Bereich von pH5–pH10 – bei Temperaturen unter 80°C umgesetzt wird – und die entstehenden Additionsprodukte in an sich bekannter Weise in 2-arylsubstituierte beta-Aminosäurederivate überführt werden.

The invention relates to a method for the production of the enantiomers of 2-substituted beta amino acids, which are important as intermediate products for pharmaceutical research and the pharmaceutical industry. According to the invention, nitroacrylic acid esters having metallorganic compounds are reacted with chiral ligands in aprotic solvents in the presence of catalytic fractions of a copper salt complex at temperatures below 0 DEG C and the resulting addition product is hydrogenated in a manner known per se. The ester is saponified or cleaved and the end product is purified and produced by crystallization. Ligands forming copper complexes and containing phosphorus as atom donors are preferably used. The inventive method makes it possible to produce enantiomers economically and with high yields.
