Abstract of Description A PFMSSB composite flocculent applied for treating the coking wastewater in environmental protection engineering field is provided, which is characterized by the molar ratio of Fe/Si=0.8~2.5, Mg/Fe=0.3~1.5 and B/Si=0.2~0.4; the preparation method of the flocculent is as follows: a certain amount of sodium silicate is weighed and taken, a solution with the 2%~3% quality percentage of SiO 2 is gotten through adding into distilled water, the activation pH value is adjusted between 2-3 by use of sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide and polymerization is completed in room temperature for 10-30min; the ferric sulfate, magnesium sulfate and sodium tetraborate are added according to molar ratio and stirred in a mixer and the flocculent is finally prepared after curing for 24 hours.
