The invention concerns water-soluble heat-sensitive polymers comprising both chain formations including at least one heat-sensitive three-block polyoxyalkylene linear chain consisting of polyethylene oxide (POE) blocks a nd polypropylene oxide (PPO) blocks, said chain being in the form POE-PPO-PPO-P OE and being extended to at least one of its ends by an organic group via a carbamate bond and chain formations including at least a three-block polyoxyalkylene POE-PPO-POE linear chain extended to at least one of its end s by an organic group via a urea bond. The invention also concerns heat- reversible physical gels with high viscosification index, containing said polymers and their uses. The invention further concerns preparation of said polymers and said gels.
