A jack device (100) has an insertion section (160), into which a plug can be inserted from the outer side toward the inner side along a first axis, and the insertion section (160) is provided with an opening (110) and a terminal (140). The opening (110) has a predetermined depth toward the inner side from an end portion (110A) on the outer side. The opening (110) has: a first inner surface (120) wherein the distance to the first axis increases toward the end portion (110A) from the inner side; and a second inner surface (150) wherein the distance to a discretionary point on the first axis is shorter than the distance between the first inner surface (120) and the discretionary point. The terminal (140) is positioned further toward the inner side than the opening (110), and is disposed, on a line intersecting the first axis, on the side opposite to the second inner surface (150), said terminal pressing the plug, and being in contact with the plug when the plug is inserted.

A jack device includes an insertion portion configured to receive a plug through an open end along a first axis. The insertion portion has an opening and a terminal. The opening has a predetermined depth from the open end to an inside of the insertion portion. An electronic device includes a jack including a first opening portion through which a plug can be inserted along a first axis, and coming into contact with the plug at an electrode; and a housing formed separately from the jack. The jack includes a second opening portion facing the first opening portion along the first axis, and a through-hole connecting the first opening portion and the second opening portion along the first axis. The housing includes a third opening portion opening on a same side as the first opening portion and opening at a position where a plug can be inserted from outside the housing into the first opening portion, and a fourth opening portion facing the third opening portion along the first axis and opening at a position where the plug can be discharged to an outside of the housing through the second opening portion.
