A system paints the external and internal faces of a splayed end of a hollow shaft, with a rotary paint bench. This splayed end includes an end support face and an opposite support face. The system includes a fixing ring applied against the end support face and a counter-ring applied against the opposite support face as well as a fixing device, an end hub fixed to the fixing ring in line with the splayed end, and including a running belt suitable for resting on two rollers of the bench, a hollow external hub including two half-hubs delimiting a running belt suitable for resting on two rollers of the bench, and fixed to the counter-ring while surrounding the splayed end. 1. A system for painting an external face and an internal face of a splayed end of a hollow shaft extending along a longitudinal axis , with a rotary paint bench comprising means for rotating and supporting the shaft and a paint gun , the splayed end comprising a flange delimited by an end support face and an opposite support face of orientation normal to the longitudinal direction and intended to remain devoid of paint , the system comprising:a fixing ring applied against the end support face and a counter-ring applied against the opposite support face, or vice-versa, as well as means for fixing by clamping by means of which the ring and the counter ring grip the flange of the splayed end;a hollow external hub of revolution delimiting a running belt suited to the means for rotating the bench in order to support the splayed end of the shaft, the hollow hub being fixed to the counter-ring or fixing ring that is applied against the opposite support face of the flange while externally surrounding the splayed end of the shaft while leaving clear the internal face of the splayed end.2. A multi-compartment housing with a plurality of cavities forms the main part of the housing. The multi-compartment housing has a side portion that has a smooth, continuous surface and a plurality of individual cavities that are perpendicular to a central axis of the multi-compartment housing. The individual cavities have a plurality of plugs capable of being placed in communication with a corresponding individual cavity. The multi-compartment housing also has a sealing bottom that is capable of being secured onto the multi-compartment housing after the plug array has been placed in position and separated from adjacent plugs from the array so as to close off the of the multi-compartment housing and to isolate each plug from adjacent cavities.

Un dispositif de calibration pour calibrer la longueur d'un outil dépassant d'un porte-outil associé comprend un corps principal allongé (1) muni d'un alésage (15) qui s'étend longitudinalement depuis une extrémité proximale (7) vers une extrémité distale (8) du corps principal. Le corps principal est muni d'une première fente longitudinale (12) ouvrant l'alésage vers l'extérieur afin de permettre l'insertion de l'outil dans l'alésage. Une butée (2), disposée dans l'alésage du corps principal, à proximité de l'extrémité proximale (7) offre une butée à l'outil lorsqu'il est inséré dans l'alésage à l'extrémité distale (8). L'outil peut être immobilisé dans le corps principal par serrage du corps principal au niveau de l'extrémité distale. L'invention apporte ainsi une solution simple, rapide et efficace pour la calibration de la longueur d'outils, notamment d'outils à fretter dans un porte-outil. A calibration device for calibrating the length of a tool protruding from an associated tool holder comprises an elongate main body (1) having a bore (15) extending longitudinally from a proximal end (7) to a distal end (8) of the main body. The main body is provided with a first longitudinal slot (12) opening the bore outwards to allow insertion of the tool into the bore. A stop (2) disposed in the bore of the main body near the proximal end (7) provides a stop for the tool when inserted into the bore at the distal end (8). The tool can be immobilized in the main body by clamping the main body at the distal end. The invention thus provides a simple, fast and efficient solution for calibrating the length of tools, in particular tools for fretting in a tool holder.
