Arrangement or method for collecting and heating print substance that passes through porous media in a printer. 1. A printing fluid collector for a printer arranged to collect waste printing fluid when printing onto porous media , the collector comprising:a body having a flat and longitudinal shape for collecting waste printing fluid,a heater arranged along a length of the body for heating collected waste printing fluid, anda removable substrate that covers a majority of a side of the body, the substrate arranged to be heated by the heater such that waste printing fluid in contact with the substrate is solidified.2.
