Systems and methods for conducting a transaction are provided. In one illustrative embodiment, a method includes receiving, from a mobile communication device, a symbol command message. The symbol command message includes a symbol command. The method may also include comparing at least a portion of the symbol command message to a plurality of symbol commands in a symbol command directory, and initiating distribution of at least one of a good or service associated with the symbol command in the symbol command message. 1. A method for conducting a transaction , the method comprising:receiving, from a mobile communication device, a symbol command message, the symbol command message comprising a symbol command;comparing at least a portion of the symbol command message to a plurality of symbol commands in a symbol command directory; andinitiating distribution of at least one of a good or service associated with the symbol command in the symbol command message.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the method is implemented using an internet-based delivery platform; andwherein the mobile communication device is an internet-based device; andwherein the mobile communication device comprises an internet interface to receive the symbol command message.3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the internet interface is a webpage; andwherein the webpage has an input field for receiving entry of the symbol command message.4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:bypassing an internet website to directly distribute the at least one of a good or service associated with the symbol command in the symbol command message.5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the symbol command message comprises a smart symbol command claim 1 , the smart symbol command comprising a basic symbol command and at least one of a functional command or a keyword command.6.
