Liquid crystal alignment agent

The present invention provides a liquid crystal alignment agent for liquid crystal display element and a liquid crystal display element made of the liquid crystal alignment agent. Even under the conditions of that not limited on ITO, and using the reflect electrode, the liquid crystal alignment film with excellent calcining property also could be obtained by using the said liquid crystal alignment agent. The said liquid crystal alignment agent contains 100 part by weight of polymer having repeat units of the amidic acid and imide, the ratio of the said amidic acid repeat units are 40~60% based on the weight of total repeat units, and at least 5 part by weight of a compound comprising at least 2 epoxy inside the molecular.

LIQUID CRYSTAL ALIGNING AGENT FOR ACHIEVING AN ALIGNMENT LAYER HAVING SUPERIOR CURING CHARACTERISTIC

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal aligning agent is provided to enhance the curing characteristic of an alignment layer even while using a reflection electrode as well as an ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) electrode, by improving the components of the liquid crystal aligning agent. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal aligning agent for optical alignment treatment comprises amide acid repeating units represented by the first predetermined formula, and imide repeating units represented by the second predetermined formula. The amide acid repeating units have a rate ranging about 40 to 60 percents by weight, based on 100 percents by weight of entire repeating units.
