QUICK ATTACHMENT BRACKET FOR SECURING A FIRST ITEM TO A SECOND ITEM

A quick attachment bracket that permits a tool holder to be quickly secured to the sidewall of a cart is disclosed. The bracket snaps onto the cart and locks the tool holder in position without the use of any mechanical devices.

The wheeled skate includes an inverted U-shaped elongated channel member, two housings, and two wheels. The channel member has apertures formed in the top near both ends of the member. Each housing is in an inverted U-shape and has a rounded portion covering one end. Apertures are formed in the top and sides of each housing. Each wheel has a bushing and axle that pass through the center thereof. The wheel is inserted into its respective housing so that the axle fits into the apertures formed within the sides of the housing. Each housing is then secured within an end of the channel member. A bolt is inserted through each aperture formed within the top of the channel member and is secured to the bottom of the storage device. In a second embodiment, the wheel is secured directly to the elongated channel member via a bolt.

A shelving unit wherein each corner of a shelf (11) has a platelike bracket (27) rigidly associated therewith. A corner structure (13) coacts between each bracket and a respective corner post (12), which post is preferably of tubular cross section and has dimplelike recesses formed therein at selected vertically spaced intervals. The corner structure employs a strap (16) which surrounds the post and creates intimate clamping contact with the post over approximately one-half of the external periphery thereof. This strap also preferably has interior projections which engage the dimples on the post. The corner structure also employs a corner piece (17) which is stationarily secured to the bracket. the corner piece includes a downwardly cantilevered wedge (71) having a front surface (67) for engaging the periphery of the post over approximately one-half the extent thereof. The wedge (71) vertically slidably engages within a wedgelike slot formed between the strap (16) and the post (12) to effect clamping of the post between the strap and corner piece.
