In press-moulding a fabric or film made of a thermoplastic material "thermoplastic fabric" into a desired three-dimensional prod. method comprises using, as a bottom force of press moulding, a molten metal bath (lead, tin, cadmium, zinc, bismuth, etc.) having an eutectic point above the softening point of the thermoplastic material but below its m.pt.; immersing the thermoplastic fabric in bath with a top force (or a core member) having a desired shape (and by use of a protective cloth for preventing contamination of the thermoplastic fabric, whenever necessary) and moulding the fabric into a desired three-dimensional prod. Since the bottom force is the molten metal high bath having fluidity, a uniform pressure can be applied on the thermoplastic fabric. A gas-permeable fabric can also be moulded.

Abstract of the Disclosure An integrally molded seat to be used, for ins-tance, for automobile seat, and a process for making the same are disclosed herein. The seat of the invention com-prises a foamed body (29) and a covering material (11) enveloping the foamed body (29). The covering material (11) is secured only at its top portion (21) integrally with the top surface of the foamed body (29). The process of the invention involves setting the covering material (11) in a mold (10) such that only the top portion (21) thereof is placed in the mold (10) and subject to molding operations so that no excessive stretching forces are applied to the covering material (11). The mold (10) used in the invention has a novel construction in that it com-prises a lower mold section (13) having relatively shallow or flat configurations defining only top surface configu-rations of the seat to be manufactured, and an upper mold section (12) having side walls and a top wall which, res-pectively, define the side and bottom shapes of the seat.

An object of the present invention is to provide a simple, economical and safe driving device which is automatically activated by detecting solar light and an automatic ventilation system utilizing the aforementioned driving device. The electric motor (21) is connected to the 1-circuit 2-contact type relay switch (22), which is connected to the 1-circuit 2-contact type limit switch (23) and the 1-circuit 1-contact type light sensor switch (24). The limit switch (23) is connected between the relay switch (22) and the power supply and the manual main switch (25) between the light sensor switch (24) and the power supply. Normally when the main switch (25) is "on" and solar light exceeds the threshold of 35,000 lux, the light sensor detects it and the contact of the switch (24) changes from "a" to "b" to be activated. Electricity is then supplied to the relay switch (22) and the contact of the relay switch (22) also change "a" to "b" to be activated. If the contact of the limit switch (23) it at "b", electricity is supplied to the electric motor (21) to activate it. The electric motor is interlinked with the vent cover via the power transmission and the vent cover gradually begins to open. A specific time after the electric motor (21) is activated and the limit switch (23) comes in contact with the power transmission, then the limit switch's (23) contact changes from "b" to "a" to turn itself off. Thus the electric motor stops and the vent cover interlocked with the electric motor can stay open without operations of the manual switch. The main switch (25) normally stays in the "on" state, however, it can serve as a safety switch to forcibly shut down the system in the event of long-term shut down and maintenance.

A B S T R A C T A composite cover material to be used for making an inte-grally formed article comprises a permeable fabric (10) and a thin layer of latex foam (15) strongly bonded via bondding zone (17) to said fabric. The latex foam layer (15) is made by applying high molecular latex material such as rubbers or synthetic resins as coating to back surface (12) of said fab-ric, and permitting said latex material to foam and cure. METHOD OF INTEGRATED MOLDING BY USE OF SILICONE RUBBER

The operation efficiency of the molding of an integral product is improved, and the compression of a material is timed easily, by using silicone rubber having a high elasticity, a high thermal resistance and a high mold releasability. A method of manufacturing an integral compression molded product out of silicone rubber by using upper and lower molds is provided. This method comprises the steps of applying a urethane foam mixture uniformly to an upper surface of horizontally retained silicone rubber, and compressing the resultant material by upper and lower molds for a predetermined period of time. The application of this mixture is carried out by a spraying system so as to obtain a uniform layer thereof. The silicone rubber can also be vacuum-sucked to an inner surface of the lower mold. Since silicone rubber is used, the operation efficiency is improved, and the running cost decreases.
