La presente provee una composición de limpieza acuosa para superficies duras que comprende desde 0,01 hasta 1% en peso de un polímero seleccionado entre el grupo de un homopolímero poliglicerol metacrilato (PGMA), un copolímero estadístico que contiene monómero glicerol metacrilato, y mezclas de ellos. Dicha composición de limpieza también contiene desde 1 hasta 50% en peso de un agente tensoactivo seleccionado entre agentes tensoactivos aniónicos, agentes tensoactivos no iónicos, y mezclas de ellos. Se ha observado que es posible obtener un beneficio de limpieza secundario cuando se usa dicha composición de limpieza.
