The thermally-conductive EMI absorber may be operable for attenuating EMI that propagates within the portions of the thermally-conductive EMI absorber between the board level shield and a heat dissipation/removal structure. 1. An assembly comprising:a board level shield including an opening;a thermally-conductive electromagnetic interference (EMI) absorber configured for attenuating EMI that propagates within the thermally-conductive EMI absorber; anda structure positioned relative to the board level shield and the thermally-conductive EMI absorber such that EMI passing through the opening is blocked and redirected by the structure to propagate within the thermally-conductive EMI absorber between the board level shield and the structure.2. The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the thermally-conductive EMI absorber is configured to attenuate the EMI that passes through the opening and propagates within the thermally-conductive EMI absorber before the EMI can emerge from the thermally-conductive EMI absorber.3. The assembly of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the thermally-conductive EMI absorber is between an upper surface of the board level shield and a lower surface of the structure and configured to be operable for attenuating EMI that propagates within the at least a portion of the thermally-conductive EMI absorber between the upper surface of the board level shield and the lower surface of the structure.4. AUTOMATIC ASSEMBLY MACHINE Abstract of the Disclosure An automatic assembly machine with a rotatable socket adapted to be advanced downwardly through an active stroke to drive a hex head screw into a workpiece. Screws are supplied one at a time to the socket by a loading mechanism having a pair of jaws adapted to close and open to grip and release a screw. While the jaws are closed, a screw is forcibly blown into the jaws through a pneumatic supply tube. As the socket retracts, the jaws are shifted transversely inwardly toward the socket and move beneath the socket as soon as the socket moves upwardly past the jaws. Thereafter, the jaws are moved upwardly along the same path as the socket but at a speed greater than the speed of the socket to enable the jaws to overtake the socket and place the screw into the socket. When the socket starts its downstroke, the jaws move downwardly away from the socket and are cammed open to release the screw. Thereafter, the jaws are shifted transversely from beneath the socket and are shifted to the supply tube to receive the next screw.

A crank is oscillated back and forth by a reciprocating actuator and acts to effect pivoting and vertical shifting of the links while a cam follower is connected to one of the links and coacts with a slotted cam plate to control such pivoting and shifting. In one embodiment, reciprocating motion of the actuator is converted into oscillating motion of the crank by a rack and pinion and, in another embodiment, the motion conversion is effected by cogged belts coacting with toothed sprockets.

Hence, users can impart their priorities with respect to search term variations used in relaxing the main search criteria, which further allows the users to impart their notion of the relevance of results that may be returned by particular sub-queries. A query that includes a sequence of sub-queries is received and the sub-queries are executed, if at all, by a database server in an order based on the progression specified by the user. Response time and network loading are improved through reduction of unnecessary work by the database server and through reduction of computationally costly communications between client and server and associated processing.

Rotation of the rotatable member causes the distal end to bear against so as to slide along the slot in the bearing portion to selectively extend or retract the slide-out compartment relative to the vehicle. The rotatable member and drive may be mounted adjacent to the opening in the vehicle wherein the bearing portion is mounted in an end wall of the slide-out.

As each pallet approaches the work station, it is gradually decelerated and cushioned by a swingable stop which, after stopping the pallet, is shifted transversely to lock the pallet rigidly in an accurately fixtured position in the work station. A single pneumatically operated actuator serves to shift the stop transversely from a position in which the stop catches a pallet to a position in which the stop fixtures the pallet and then to a position in which the stop releases the pallet.

The waveguide enclosure is formed of a high magnetic permeability material and has a first aperture for the beam of radiotherapeutic radiation where the beam exits the waveguide enclosure and enters the MRI system and a second aperture for an RF guide for the introduction of electrons into the accelerator waveguide and for electrical lines for the particle source and coolant lines for the waveguide to pass through the enclosure and no other openings. The waveguide enclosure is preferably fabricated in a plurality of discrete parts.

High Density Fiber Optic Packaging for Cryogenic Applications

A quantum network may use long-lived quantum memories with optical interfaces incorporated into a scalable architecture. Color-center quantum emitters in diamond have emerged as a promising quantum-memory modality due to their optical properties and compatibility with scalable integration. Here, we disclose a cryogenically stable and network-compatible quantum-emitter module for use as a quantum memory. This quantum-emitter module includes a diamond microchiplet with quantum emitters in the form of silicon vacancies or other color centers. The diamond microchiplet is integrated with a silicon photonic integrated circuit (PIC), which is secured to a silicon bench with cryo-compatible epoxy. Waveguides in the PIC are butt-coupled to optical fibers in a silicon V-groove array, which is secured to the same silicon bench with more cryo-compatible epoxy. A fast-curing epoxy holds the V-groove array to the PIC while the cryo-compatible epoxy cures for mechanical stability from room temperature to cryogenic temperatures.
