A method and a system for decomposition of acoustic signal into sound objects having the form of signals with slowly-varying amplitude and frequency, as well as sound objects and their use. The object is achieved by a method for decomposing an acoustic signal into digital sound objects, a digital sound object representing a component of the acoustic signal, the component having a waveform, comprising the steps of converting the analogue acoustic signal into a digital input signal (PIN); determining an instantaneous frequency component of the digital input signal, using a digital filter bank; determining an instantaneous amplitude of the instantaneous frequency component; determining an instantaneous phase of the digital input signal associated with the instantaneous frequency; creating at least one digital sound object, based on the determined instantaneous frequency, phase and amplitude; and storing the digital sound object in a sound object database. 1. A method for decomposing an acoustic signal into digital sound objects , a digital sound object representing a component of the acoustic signal , the component having a waveform , the method comprising:converting the analogue acoustic signal into a digital input signal (PIN), wherein the digital signal comprises samples of the acoustic signal;determining, for each sample, an instantaneous frequency component of the digital input signal, using a digital filter bank comprising digital filters(n);determining, for each sample, an instantaneous amplitude of the instantaneous frequency component;determining, for each sample, an instantaneous phase of the digital input signal associated with the instantaneous frequency;creating at least one digital sound object, wherein the digital sound object includes the determined instantaneous frequency, phase and amplitude; andstoring the digital sound object in a sound object database,characterized in that,for each sample, for each filter(n), locations of frequencies present in the ...

El objeto de la invención es un método y un sistema para la descomposición de una señal acústica en objetos de sonido que tengan la forma de señales con amplitud de variación lenta y frecuencia, así como objetos de sonido y su uso. El objeto se logra por un método para descomponer una señal acústica en objetos de sonido digitales, un objeto de sonido digital que representa un componente de la señal acústica, el componente que tiene una forma de onda, comprende las etapas de convertir la señal acústica analógica en un (PIN) de señal de entrada digital; determinar un componente de frecuencia instantánea de la señal de entrada digital, utilizar un banco de filtros digitales; determinar una amplitud instantánea del componente de frecuencia instantánea; determinar una fase instantánea de la señal de entrada digital asociada con la frecuencia instantánea; crear al menos un objeto de sonido digital, con base en la frecuencia instantánea determinada, fase y amplitud; y almacenar el objeto de sonido digital en una base de datos de objetos de sonido.

The object of the invention is a method and a system for decomposition of acoustic signal into sound objects having the form of signals with slowly-varying amplitude and frequency, as well as sound objects and their use. The system for decomposition of acoustic signal into sound objects having the form of sinusoidal waveforms with slowly varying amplitude and frequency, comprising an A/D conversion system, connected to a filter bank with central frequencies of filters distributed according to geometrical distribution is characterised in that each filter (20) is adapted to determine the real value FC (n) and the imaginary value FS (n) of the filtered signal, the filter bank (2) is connected to a system for tracking objects (3), wherein the system for tracking objects (3) comprises a spectrum analysing system (31), a voting system (32) adapted to calculate the value of angular frequency weighted by amplitude, a resolution improvement system (36) adapted to adjust the filter's (20) window and/or to determine the difference between the spectrum of the input signal and the spectrum at the filter bank's (2) output, and/or to determine the difference between the input signal and the signal at the filter bank's (2) output, a system for associating objects (33), a shape forming system (37) adapted to determine characteristic points describing slowly-varying sinusoidal waveforms, a database of active objects (34) and a database of sound objects (35).

The system for decomposition of acoustic signal into sound objects having the form of sinusoidal waveforms with slowly varying amplitude and frequency, comprising a sub-system for determining parameters of a short term signal model and a sub-system for determining parameters of a long term signal model based on said parameters, wherein said subsystem for determining short term parameters comprises a converter system for conversion of the analogue acoustic signal into a digital input signal P IN characterized in that said subsystem for determining short term parameters further comprises a filter bank (20) with filter central frequencies distributed according to logarithmic distribution, each digital filter having a window length proportionally to the central frequency wherein each filter (20) is adapted to determine a real value FC (n) and an imaginary value FS (n) of said filtered signal, said filter bank (2) being connected to a system for tracking objects (3), wherein said system for tracking objects (3) comprises a spectrum analysing system (31) adapted to detect all constituent elements of the input signal P IN , a voting system (32) adapted to determine the frequency of all detected constituent elements based on maximum values of the function FG(n) resulting from a mathematical operation reflecting the number of neighbouring filters (20) which output an angular frequency value substantially similar to an angular frequency value of each consecutive filter (20), and in that said subsystem for determining long term parameters comprises a system for associating objects (33), a shape forming system (37) adapted to determine characteristic points describing slowly-varying sinusoidal waveforms, an active objects database (34) and a sound objects ...
