A method for providing resilient digital telephony services for wireless communication devices , comprising:registering a plurality of wireless communication devices with a border gateway connected to a network comprising at least two telephony servers;identifying a primary telephony server and a secondary telephony server from the at least two telephony servers for each of the plurality of wireless communication devices;communicating a heartbeat signal at a selected frequency between the border gateway and the at least two telephony servers to determine an operational status of the at least two telephony servers; andwhen a selected number of heartbeat signals are not communicated between the border gateway and at least one of the telephony servers, sending an instruction from the border gateway to the identified secondary telephony server to provide failover service for each of the plurality of wireless communication devices that are identified as using the at least one telephony server as the primary telephony server.2. Cytochrome P450 BM-3 from was engineered using a combination of directed evolution and site-directed mutagenesis to hydroxylate linear alkanes regio- and enantioselectively using atmospheric dioxygen as an oxidant. Mutant 9-10A-A328V hydroxylates octane primarily at the 2-positio to form S-2-octanol (40% ee). Another mutant, 1-12G, hydroxylates alkanes larger than hexane primarily at the 2-position, but forms R-2-alcohols (40-55% ee). These biocatalysts are highly active for alkane substrates and support thousands of product turnovers. A portable, hand held hydraulic cutting tool having an in-line handle assembly and a working head assembly. The handle assembly has a tool frame portion and a neck portion. The working head assembly has a pair of jaw members joined so that they are movable relative to each other and held in place by a locking pin. Each jaw member has a cutting blade attached thereto. Each jaw member can be tapered and can include weight reducing pockets defined in respective sidewalls. Each jaw member includes a raised tab on an outside edge that mates with a respective tab notch in a yoke of the neck portion of the handle assembly. When the locking pin is in an extended position, the jaw members of the tool can separate and rotate away from one another until their respective locking tabs engage their respective locking tab opening, connecting the jaw members to the yoke of the neck portion of the handle assembly. 1. In one illustrative embodiment, a Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) client on a device can be synchronized with a network so that the device can appear as a local entity. The UCC client can facilitate exchange of data to ease the integration of the device into the local environment. After being synchronized, the UCC client can seek out available assistance from the local network and provide it to the user.
