The method of claim 1 , wherein the first communications protocol is a low-power communications protocol including at least one of a Bluetooth low energy (BLE) protocol claim 1 , an ANT® protocol claim 1 , a ZigBee protocol claim 1 , infrared data association (IrDA) protocol claim 1 , and an ultra-wideband (UWB) protocol.3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second protocol is a high-speed communications protocol including at least one of an Internet protocol claim 1 , a broadband communications protocol claim 1 , and a cellular network protocol.4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second device is in a close proximity to the first device and wherein the second device connects to the cloud server in response to receiving the broadcast from the first device.5.
