An adjustable height water drinking fountain includes a generally horizontal water drinking fountain body having front and rear ends, and an upper surface containing a water collecting basin. The fountain body is pivotally connected at its rear end with a vertical support for pivotal movement about a horizontal pivot axis. A normally closed water supply valve is operable to supply water to a faucet adjacent the basin via a supply conduit, and a drain pipe serves to remove water from the basin. Each of the water supply and drain conduits includes at least one flexible portion to permit the pivotal movement of the fountain body, whereby the fountain body can be pivoted upwardly of downwardly from a normal horizontal position for use by a standing person or by a person seated in a wheel chair. 1. An adjustable height water drinking fountain , comprising:(a) a generally horizontally water drinking fountain body having front and rear ends, and an upper surface the front portion of which is horizontal and contains a water collecting basin;(b) pivot means for connecting said fountain body rear end with a vertical support for pivotal movement about a horizontal pivot axis,(c) biasing means biasing said fountain body toward a horizontal normal position relative to the vertical support, said fountain body being pivotally displaceable between angular raised and lowered positions relative to said horizontal normal position, respectively;(d) a water faucet mounted on said water fountain body adjacent said water collecting basin;(e) water supply means including a normally closed supply valve for supplying drinking water to said water faucet; and(f) drain means for removing waste water from said basin;(g) said water supply means and said drain means each being at least partially flexible, thereby to permit the angular effective height of the fountain body to be alternately adjusted for use by a standing person or by a person seated in a wheel chair.2. A method for marking the ground adjacent to a motor vehicle includes the steps of observing an event exterior to the motor vehicle, remotely activating a ground marking device connected with the motor vehicle, and marking the ground exterior to and below the motor vehicle with the ground marking device. Remotely activating the ground marking device can include engaging an electronic switch while a person is within the motor vehicle. 1. A method for marking the ground adjacent to a motor vehicle , comprising the steps of:(a) observing an event exterior to the motor vehicle;(b) remotely activating a ground marking device connected with the motor vehicle; and(c) marking the ground adjacent to the motor vehicle with the ground marking device in response to the event.2. A method as defined in claim 1 , wherein said remotely activating step includes engaging an electronic switch.3. A method as defined in claim 2 , wherein said remotely activating step is completed from within the motor vehicle.4. A method as defined in claim 1 , wherein said marking the ground step comprises the steps of:(a) sending an electronic signal to a bolt of the ground marking device;(b) releasing a valve which controls a high-pressure gas system of the ground marking device;(c) releasing a high-pressure gas system into a barrel of the ground marking device; and(d) ejecting a ground marking component through the barrel of the ground marking device toward the ground adjacent to the motor vehicle.5. A method as defined in claim 4 , wherein said ejecting a ground marking component step includes ejecting a dye-filled gelatin capsule that bursts upon impact with the ground.6. A method as defined in claim 1 , and further comprising the step of operating the motor vehicle.7. A method as defined in claim 1 , wherein said observing an event step includes a law enforcement officer observing suspected criminal evidence or activity.8.
