To carry out the method, the tank or its empty space is connected to a gas tank containing an inert gas. The opening valve of this gas tank can be operated via the gas pressure in the empty space or separately by hand. A valve of a heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning system includes an actuator with a housing and a shaft which is arranged at least partially in the housing and which can be coupled directly or indirectly to the valve such that the valve can be adjusted during a rotation of the shaft. A hand-operated element can be coupled to the shaft via an overload clutch arranged between the hand-operated element and the shaft which limits a torque which is transmitted onto the shaft by the hand-operated element to a predetermined maximum value. The overload clutch has a coupling element and a replaceable spring element which presses the coupling element against the shaft such that the maximum value for the transmittable torque is dependent on the replaceable spring element.

To decompose hydrocarbons and surfactants present in water, the water is emulsified in a mechanical emulsifier and then passed to at least two decomposition stages. Each these stages has a reactor with aerobically degrading microorganism. The mixture is separated and then, by flotation, gives a sedimentation with a low water content and a liq. The two phases, with a low water content, are returned separately or together ot the reactor. The separated liquid is passed through at least one further degrading stage with anaerobic decomposing micro organisms, before passing into further decomposition stages or the water pipeline. USE/ADVANTAGE - For cleaning water which has been soiled, e.g. in firefighting practice where fuel burning on a water surface has been extinguished with foams to give a toxic combination which can pass into public water supplies, or for cleaning water used in vehicle washing assemblies, or waste water which has penetrated used oils and cleaners. The system purifies soiled water to give a clear water free of residue, through micro biological degradiation.

The separating member (6) has a specific gravity between that of the two components to be separated. As a result of the asymmetrical shape, the center of gravity (S) of separating member (6) is eccentrically positioned with respect to axis (M) of separating tube (2), so that the separating member (6) is rotated or tilted during centrifuging. At least one gap (f) is formed through which one of the two components reaches the top of separating member (6). At the end of the centrifuging process, the bouyancy of the heavier component rotates separating member (6) back into its original position in which it seals off separating tube (2). The pipe receptacle ( 1 ) has a longitudinal center plane (M), which extends through the receiving opening. The catch element ( 3 ) has a first point (S 1 ), which allows movement of at least part of the catch element relative to the pipe receptacle ( 1 ), and a second point (S 2 ), which is designed to engage in a corrugation trough ( 41 ) of the peripherally ribbed pipe ( 4 ). At least when the pipe ( 4 ) is inserted and fastened, the first point (S 1 ) lies closer to the longitudinal center plane (M) than the second point (S 2 ) does. The connection device according to the invention allows easy, leak-tight and secure fastening of a pipe.
