The construction of the reduction gear is simplified by making the stator winding support (19), the mounting foot (1) and the gear wheel bearing block (20) as one piece. The motor rotor (24) is joined to the motor shaft (21) by radial ribs (9) between the rotor circumference and a central hub. The driving end (2) of the shaft has gear teeth cut into it which mate with a driven wheel (4). Power output may be taken by belt from a pulley (10) or from a further gear wheel (5) on the output shaft (25).
