DETERMINING EFFICIENT PICKUP LOCATIONS FOR TRANSPORTATION REQUESTS UTILIZING A PICKUP LOCATION MODEL

Номер: US20210049911A1
Принадлежит:

This disclosure describes a pickup location determination system that determines a pickup location for a received transportation request by filtering out door points based on various factors and by utilizing a pickup location model to select a pickup location from the filtered door points. For example, the disclosed systems generate door points relative to intersection points within a request radius of a request location associated with a received transportation request. The disclosed systems generate potential pickup locations by filtering out door points that are impractical and/or inefficient based on proximity to other door points, locations relative to venues, locations relative to side streets, and/or locations between parallel road segments (e.g., medians). The disclosed systems further utilize a pickup location model to select a pickup location from the potential pickup locations. 1. A method for managing transportation services comprising:identifying, for a transportation request associated with a request location, one or more intersection points within a request radius of the request location;determining, for an intersection point of the one or more intersection points within the request radius, a set of door points within an intersection radius of the intersection point;filtering out one or more door points from the set of door points that are within a threshold distance of another door point to determine one or more potential pickup locations;determining, from the one or more potential pickup locations, a pickup location for the transportation request based on locations of available transportation providers; andproviding, for display on a requester device, a pickup location interface including an indication of the pickup location.2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:generating a polygon defined by one or more nodes of road segments; andfiltering out door points from the set of door points that are within the polygon.3. Номер: US20210095979A1
Принадлежит:

The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for selectively coalescing stop locations of route options in a dynamic transportation matching system. In one or more embodiments, the coalescing controller system generates route scores for driving route options, including route scores for an optimal non-coalesced driving route option and a coalesced driving route option. In some embodiments, the route score can include a driving score, a walking score, and a coalescing factor. Based on the route scores, the coalescing controller system can determine to coalesce stop locations. For example, if the route score of the coalesced driving route option is lower than the non-coalesced driving route option, the coalescing controller system can determine to coalesce stop locations in accordance with the coalesced driving route option. Additionally, the coalescing controller system can send instructions to a transportation provider device in accordance with the coalesced driving route option. 1. A computer-implemented method comprising:receiving a first transportation request from a first requestor device associated with a first requestor and a second transportation request from a second requestor device associated with a second requestor;generating a first route score for a first driving route option that includes a first stop location for the first requestor and a second stop location for the second requestor;generating a second route score for a second driving route option that includes a coalesced stop location for both the first requestor and the second requestor;determining to coalesce stop locations based on the first route score and the second route score; andsending instructions to a transportation provider device associated with a transportation provider in accordance with the second driving route option.2. Принадлежит: Wall Colmonoy Corporation

A brazing filler metal powder is provided for brazing thin stainless steel parts together with reduced erosion. The brazing filler metal powder is formed by processing first metal particles, which typically comprise a nickel-based alloy including chromium, phosphorous, silicon, to a particle size of not greater than 0.0098 inch; providing second metal particles, typically consisting of copper, molybdenum, or cobalt; combining the first metal particles with the second metal particles by mixing and/or, milling, or sintering; and processing the combined composition to a particle size of not greater than 0.0098 inch. The first and second metal particles are less than fully alloyed together and are distinct from one another. A preferred composition of the brazing filler metal powder is 26.1 wt. % chromium, 5.4 wt. % phosphorous, 5.9 wt. % silicon, 10.0 wt. % cobalt, and a balance essentially of nickel.

Control, calibration, and operation of a microbolometer array at ambient temperature

Номер: AU3728000A
Принадлежит: Raytheon Co

A method for measuring the temperature of a scene using a detector having at least one reference pixel, with an integratable sampling circuit associated with each pixel. Initially, an ambient reference temperature is observed with the reference pixel(s) to provide a parameter, generally voltage, indicative of that temperature to provide a constant voltage output indicating that temperature by varying the sampling circuit integration time. Each non-reference pixel is exposed to different scene and ambient temperatures and the integration time for each set of data for each pixel is recorded. For each pixel, an equation is provided relating integration time to pixel voltage when the ambient temperature and the scene temperature are the same to correct for offsets and an equation is provided relating integration time and offset corrected pixel value to the difference between the ambient temperature and the scene temperature when the ambient temperature and scene temperature differ for correction of responsivity. An equation is provided relating integration time to ambient temperature for calculating ambient temperature. The voltage level for each of the pixels and the integration is determined, the offset correction for each pixel is calculated based upon the integration time and the offset correction is applied to the pixel value for each pixel. The responsivity corrected value is calculated for each pixel based upon the integration time and the offset corrected pixel value. The ambient temperature is calculated based upon the integration time and the temperature difference between the ambient temperature and the scene temperature for each pixel which is calculated based upon the responsivity corrected pixel value using a scale factor determined during calibration. The ambient temperature and the difference between the ambient and the scene temperatures are added to obtain the actual scene temperature.
