FLEXIBLE AMINE SENSOR BASED ON ULTRATHIN POLY-THIOPHENE THIN FILM TRANSISTOR

Номер: US20120304741A1
Принадлежит: CITY UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG

The design and fabrication of ultrathin poly-3-hexyl thiophene (P3HT) film based amine sensors are described herein. Ultrathin P3HT monolayer films can be built on a patterned flexible n-octadecylphosphonic acid (ODPA)/AlO/PET substrate, forming a flexible polymer thin film transistor according to a solution process. The mechanism of the sensor is based on the interaction of amine molecules with the surface of the P3HT monolayer. The interaction of amine molecules with the surface of the P3HT monolayer can affect the current density of the PTFT, and the change in current density can indicate the presence of amine molecules in the surroundings. The amine sensors described herein can easily detect amine molecules in a parts per billion (ppb) range. The amine sensors can be utilized, for example, as disposable sensors within food packaging to ensure the safety of the packaged food. 1. A method for efficiently separating magnesium and lithium from salt lake brine and simultaneously preparing high-purity magnesium oxide and battery-grade lithium carbonate

Номер: US20210139340A1
Автор: XU Xiang, XUE Duan

This invention provides a method for efficiently separating magnesium and lithium from salt lake brine, and simultaneously preparing high-purity magnesium oxide and battery-grade lithium carbonate. The detailed processing steps are as follows: (1) adding urea into the brine to dissolve, (2) placing the solution into the reactor for hydrothermal reaction, the magnesium ion will precipitate and enter the solid phase; (3) filtering and drying the production to get the magnesium carbonate solid, while the lithium ion remains in the liquid phase; (4) after directly concentration and precipitation, the battery-grade lithium carbonate can be obtained, while the calcination of solid-phase product results in the high-purity magnesium oxide. In this method, urea is used as the precipitant to separate magnesium and lithium in salt lake without introducing any new metal ion, and the brine solution is not diluted. The solid product is white and fluffy powder, which is easy to filter and separate. The extraction rate of lithium is high than 94%, and the purity of MgO obtained by calcination is higher than 99.5%.

METHOD FOR COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION OF INDOOR ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY

Номер: US20200124580A1

The present invention provides a method for comprehensively assessing indoor environmental quality. Pollutant concentration data used in the method is an average value calculated after sampling is performed at a plurality of positions in an indoor space, and is therefore relatively accurate, so that an excessively high or excessively low pollutant concentration at a position is prevented from impairing the accuracy of a measurement result. In the method, concentrations of pollutants are further converted into damage values, the damage values of the pollutants are converted into a total damage value based on a predetermined rule, and an air index is then calculated according to the total damage value, where the calculated air index reflects the impact of various pollutants on air healthiness. Therefore, by using the method for comprehensively assessing indoor environmental quality of the present invention, the measurement is precise, and indoor air healthiness can be comprehensively reflected. 1. MEMBRANE ELECTRODE MATERIAL, ITS PREPARATION METHOD AND APPLICATION IN LITHIUM EXTRACTION BY ADSORPTION-ELECTROCHEMICAL COUPLING TECHNOLOGY

Номер: US20210388465A1
Автор: Sun Ying, XIANG Xu
Принадлежит:

This invention provides a membrane electrode material and its preparation method, as well as the application of the material into lithium extraction by adsorption-electrochemical coupling method. The membrane electrode material is described as MnO@C. The preparation steps are as follows: LiMnOis firstly obtained by calcining lithium carbonate and manganese carbonate, which is then dispersed in hydrochloric acid solution. After stirring and separating, the solid products are dried to obtain λ-MnO. The λMnOis added to the raw material of Mn-MOF-74, and then the Mn-MOF-74 coated λ-MnOcan be obtained by hydrothermal reaction. By further calcining Mn-MOF-74 coated λ-MnOin nitrogen atmosphere, the membrane capacitor/electrode material can be obtained as MnO@C. The material is fabricated into an adsorption film electrode plate and assembled into an adsorption-electrochemical coupling lithium extraction device. The pure lithium solution can be obtained in the recovery pool through the combined lithium extraction and lithium recovery process. In this invention, the thickness of the carbon coating layer in the electrode material is adjustable. Adsorption-electrochemical coupling technology takes the advantages of both adsorption and electrochemical lithium intercalation, which can extract and recover lithium resources with high capacity. Thus, this invention not only achieves high-efficiency separation of lithium resources, but also opens up a new way for the extraction of lithium resources. 1. A preparation method for the membrane electrode material is characterized in the steps as follows:{'sub': 2', '4', '2', '4', '2, 'A. The lithium carbonate and manganese carbonate are mixed with the ratio of Li/Mn=0.1˜10. and after calcined at 300˜800° C. for 1˜8 h with the heating rate of 1˜10° C./min, LiMnOcan be prepared; LiMnOis further dispersed in 0.1˜2 mol/L hydrochloric acid solution with the solid-liquid ratio of 1:10˜100; after stirring for 12˜48 h, solid products can be ...
