The method is as below: conducting an addition reaction on a halogen donor of carbon tetrachloride and a halogen acceptor of unsaturated fatty acid, and saponifying by a sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, so as to prepare the separant with flame retardant function. The flame retardant type separant can be used in condensation process of rubber latex and preparation of powder rubber product with flame retardance, and can guarantee safety of product storage and transportation process.
