An intelligent robot for cleaning and detecting a gas pipeline comprises a walking mechanism, a cleaning device and a detecting device. The walking mechanism comprises a crawler-type tensioning wheelwalking mechanism, the cleaning device is composed of a nonmetal brush, a bucket and a dust suction device, the nonmetal brush and the bucket are sequentially fixed to the front end of the walking mechanism, the dust suction device is composed of an auger, a dust storage box and a dust channel, and the dust suction device is fixed to the middle of the walking mechanism. The detection device is composed of a detection control module, a deformation (variable diameter) sensor, a magnetic sensor and an ultrasonic sensor, and the detection device is fixed at the rear end of the walking mechanism; after the cleaning device cleans the gas pipeline, the detection device detects scratches, corrosion and cracks of the pipeline, and cleaning and detection of the gas pipeline are completed at a time.
