The invention provides a shell of an electronic device. The shell comprises a base body and a plurality of assembly components connected to the base body. The base body comprises a fibre layer, a metal embedment component embedded in the fibre layer and a plastic layer bonded on the fibre layer. A plurality of holes are formed in the area on the surface, opposite to the plastic layer and corresponding to the metal embedment component, of the fibre layer. The assembly components are connected with the metal embedment component through the holes. The invention also provides a method for manufacturing the shell of the electronic device.
