The invention discloses a formula of a chemical nickel-plated brightener, comprising: 20 to 30g/L of nickel sulfate, 23 to 32g/L of sodium hypophosphite, 10 to 20g/L of sodium acetate, 4 to 10g/L of malic acid, 6 to 13ml/L of acetic acid, 6 to 15ml of lactic acid, 3 to 10mg/L of bismuth sulfate, 1 to 4mg/L of chelidonamic acid, 1 to 4mg/L of o-phenanthroline, 1 to 6mg/L of sodium dodecyl sulfate and 0.5 to 2.5mg/L of copper sulfate, wherein the PH value of the formula is 4.5 to 5.0.
