A hazardous location lighting fixture comprising:an LED light source; 'a plurality of heatsink fins formed at an outer side;', 'a housing holding the LED light source, the housing comprisinga flat float glass lens;a ring to compressively attach the flat float glass lens to the housing;a lens mating surface, wherein an outer perimeter edge area of the lens mating surface has a machined surface; anda gap as a flame path formed between the flat float glass and the lens mating surface in an inside of the housing.2. A hazardous location lighting fixture according to claim 1 , wherein the gap as the flame path is between 9 mm and 50 mm from an outer edge of the lens.3. A hazardous location lighting fixture according to claim 1 , further comprising a first gasket and a second gasket claim 1 , wherein the first gasket is a protecting gasket and is used between the lens and the ring claim 1 , and wherein the second gasket is a sealing gasket and is used between the lens and the housing.4. A fastening system allows the panel mounting of handles and similar hardware in both front and rear mount configurations. A caged bolt is provided in a transverse aperture extending through the hardware item. A mounting bolt includes a head-distal shank portion for engagement with the bolt when inserted through the hardware rear face, and head-proximate unthreaded shank portion for capture by the caged nut when the bolt is inserted through the hardware item from the front face. The caged nut can be positioned along the length of the aperture to align with a panel mounting hole.
