Active compound combination comprises at least one cyano compound (I) and at least one compound comprising e.g. (i) inhibitors of ergosterol biosynthesis, (ii) inhibitors of respiration (respiratory chain inhibitors), (iii) inhibitors of respiration (respiratory chain inhibitors) at a complex III of respiratory chain, (iv) inhibitors of mitosis and cell division, (v) compounds with multi-site activity, (vi) resistance inducer, (vii) inhibitors of amino acid and protein biosynthesis, (x) inhibitors of lipid and membrane synthesis, or (xi) inhibitors of melanin-biosynthesis. Active compound combination comprising at least one cyano compound of formula (I), and at least one compound comprising (i) inhibitors of ergosterol biosynthesis, e.g. 65 compounds are given, e.g. aldimorph, azaconazole, bitertanol, bromuconazol, cyproconazole, diclobutrazol, difenoconazole, diniconazole, diniconazole-M, (ii) inhibitors of respiration (respiratory chain inhibitors), e.g. bixafen, boscalid, carboxin, diflumetorim, fenfuram, fluopyram, flutolanil, fluxapyroxad, furametpyr, furmecyclox, isopyrazam mixtures of syn-epimeric racemates 1RS,4SR,9RS and the anti-epimeric racemates 1RS,4SR,9SR, isopyrazam (anti-epimeric racemate), isopyrazam (anti-epimeric enantiomer 1R,4S,9S), isopyrazam (anti-epimeric enantiomer 1S,4R,9R), (iv) inhibitors of mitosis and cell division, e.g. benomyl, carbendazim, chlorfenazole, (vii) inhibitors of amino acid and protein biosynthesis, e.g. andoprim, blasticidin-S, cyprodinil, kasugamycin, kasugamycin hydrochloride hydrate, mepanipyrim or pyrimethanil, (viii) inhibitors of ATP production, e.g. fentin acetate, fentin chloride, fentin hydroxide or silthiofam, (ix) inhibitors of cell wall synthesis, e.g. benthiavalicarb, dimethomorph, flumorph, iprovalicarb, mandipropamid, polyoxins, polyoxorim, validamycin A or valifenalate, (x) inhibitors of lipid and membrane synthesis, e.g. biphenyl, chloroneb, dicloran, edifenphos, etridiazole, iodocarb, iprobenfos, ...
