The inner layer of the bracelet is copper and the outer layer is another metal, preferably a precious metal such as sterling silver or gold, platinum or titanium. However, any suitable material may be used for the outer layer. The hinge turns around an axis(5) and the bracelet is fixed to the articulated sections by screws (8) in the underside which enter holes(9). The screws pass through a small plate(7) against the bracelet and then through perforations in the bracelet which align with holes in the articulated sections.
