A nozzle assembly for use with a device for dispensing a flowable material, such as caulking material, is disclosed. The nozzle assembly includes a conduit having an inlet end adapted for connecting to the dispensing device, an outlet end, and a longitudinally extending passage therethrough. A head assembly is arranged to be rotatably mounted to the conduit outlet end. A nozzle is arranged to be affixed within the head assembly, the nozzle comprising a larger diameter inlet opening, a smaller diameter outlet opening, and a tapered wall comprising a notched portion which, together with the outlet opening forms a dispensing opening. A dispensing device for a multi-component composition comprises a plurality of collapsible bag compartments ( 109, 110 ) located within a housing ( 101 ). The compartments extend adjacent each other and have cross-sectional areas that are proportional to an intended volume mixing ratio for the multi-component composition. Each compartment has an opening ( 123 ) that communicates with a device outlet at one end of the housing, and an opposite, sealed end that is exposed to pressure from a compression device ( 103 ). The compression device acts to collapse the compartments and dispenses the components through the device outlet. The components have different viscosities. The chamber of a less viscous component has a flow control regulator ( 111 ) to compensate for extra pressure exerted on that compartment by an adjacent compartment containing a more viscous component. The flow control regulator restricts the flow of the less viscous component, thereby achieving a volume mixing ratio that is closer to the intended volume mixing ratio.

A dispenser with a transfer assembly is arranged to efficiently transfer a stored liquid from a reservoir in a body of the dispenser to an applicator. To minimize the presence of mixed composition residually present within the fluid dispensing device, it may be helpful to delay mixing. Separate dip tubes may be provided to pull liquid from the separate compartments, each with its own separate pump. Each pump may deliver the separate compositions to a spray nozzle of the device through separate delivery tubes (e.g., from the pumps to the nozzle). In other embodiments, a single delivery tube, and/or a single pump may be provided, e.g., where the volume of mixed composition that may be present in such pump and/or delivery tube may be sufficiently small so as to still provide overall desired efficacy characteristics. A dispensing plunger for a dispensing apparatus for the reception of a collapsible cartridge containing a dispensable medium , the dispensing plunger being configured to be arranged at or in the dispensing apparatus , the dispensing plunger comprising:an end face configured to act on the collapsible cartridge to dispense the medium out of the collapsible cartridge, the dispensing plunger being configured such that the end face, while dispensing the medium, has at least a first dispensing cross-section and subsequently has at least a second dispensing cross-section.2. The dispensing plunger in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the first dispensing cross-section is larger than the second dispensing cross-section on intended movement of the dispensing plunger along an axial dispensing direction.3. The dispensing plunger in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the dispensing plunger is configured in at least two parts and comprises a first plunger and a second plunger.4. The dispensing plunger in accordance with claim 3 , further comprising a coupling apparatus configured to couple or decouple the first plunger and the second plunger claim 3 , the coupling apparatus being arranged at or in the dispensing plunger.5. An adhesive applicator nozzle for being attached to an adhesive applicator to apply adhesive to a surface of a structure having an edge to thereafter be adhered to a second structure. The nozzle includes a flow conduit for attachment to the applicator for receiving a delivered adhesive and an adhesive dispensing head having a discharge opening communicating with the flow conduit for receiving the adhesive from the flow conduit and applying the adhesive to the surface of the structure. A dispensing guide is attached to the applicator nozzle and extending forwardly and to one side of the dispensing head for engaging the edge of the surface of the structure and guiding the adhesive onto the surface.
