In a transport method for transferring workpieces between a plurality of successive stations of a processing device, especially a forming device, workpieces are in each case transported from one station to the respective next station of the processing device simultaneously by means of a plurality of gripping tools which are movable jointly in a transport cycle. In the event of a process disturbance, the transport cycle is suspended and the gripping tools with the workpieces are moved into a waiting position in which the workpieces are outside the operating range of processing tools of the stations of the processing device. Once the process disturbance has been eliminated, the transport cycle of the workpieces is resumed. By virtue of the movement of the gripping tools into a safe waiting position outside the operating range of the processing tools of the stations, consequent damage resulting from the process disturbance can be prevented. 1. A transport method for transferring workpieces between a plurality of successive stations of a processing device , wherein the workpieces are in each case transported from one station to a respective next station of the processing device simultaneously by a plurality of gripping tools which are movable jointly in a transport cycle , wherein in the event of a process disturbance , the transport cycle is suspended and the gripping tools with the workpieces are moved into a waiting position in which the workpieces are outside an operating range of processing tools of the stations of the processing device and , once the process disturbance has been eliminated , the transport cycle of the workpieces is resumed.2. Preliminary machine work is carried out to obtain at the end face of the cylinder a leading part of the preform-liner pipe separating the annular cavities from the axial hole of the preform-pipe. When fastening the leading part of the workpiece-pipe in the hollow lead center, the shank without a gap is placed in the cavity, which is performed on the end face of the small cylinder of the hollow driving center. Material is fed to a high-speed press by an arrangement in which the carry-out arm for pressed material is in a higher plane than that in which the carry in arm for new material is turned. The arms move pivotally in a horizontal direction and linearly in a vertical direction. The fulcrum for pivoting is mounted on a rear surface of the press bolster. The dead point of the carry-in arm is at the end of in-feeding and that for the carry-out arm is at the start of out- feeding. Movements of the arms are timed so that the materials fed in and taken out are overlapped vertically in a position above a lower press die.

Прутки перемещают в один ряд посредством механизма перемещения, имеющего ролик с приводом вращения. При этом обеспечивают подачу прутков в пространстве между транспортерной лентой и роликом. Ролик посредством подъемно-винтовой системы устанавливают с зазором относительно транспортерной ленты, на 2-4 мм превышающим диаметр прутка. Ролик приводят во вращение в сторону, противоположную направлению движения транспортерной ленты, со скоростью, превышающей скорость движения транспортерной ленты.
