This invention relates to a novel application of liquid-infused surface materials (LISM) to at least a portion of one or more surfaces of razor components (e.g., frame, housing, clips, blade supports, blade body, blade edge, lubricating bodies, guard, handle, grip, button). If applied to a skin contacting surface of a component, the one or more LISM layers may generally be abrasion-resistant, long-lasting or non-erodible, desirably elevating shaving performance, such as glide, comfort, rinsing, and cleanliness, while also simplifying the manufacturing process. 1. A razor apparatus comprising:at least one portion of at least one surface of a razor component having at least one layer of LISM material disposed thereon.2. The razor apparatus of wherein said at least one razor component comprises one or more of the following: a razor blade claim 1 , each blade having a blade edge and a blade body claim 1 , a blade support claim 1 , a housing claim 1 , a frame claim 1 , a guard claim 1 , a cap claim 1 , a lubricating strip claim 1 , a lubricating ring claim 1 , a clip claim 1 , a cartridge connecting structure or any combination thereof claim 1 , a handle claim 1 , wherein the handle further comprises a button claim 1 , a handle grip claim 1 , or any combination thereof.3. The razor apparatus of wherein said at least one portion comprises an outer skin contacting surface claim 1 , an inner surface claim 1 , a sharpened substrate claim 1 , or any combination thereof claim 1 , of a razor component.4. The razor apparatus of wherein said at least one surface is comprised of a polymeric material claim 1 , an elastomeric material claim 1 , a hard plastic material claim 1 , a metal claim 1 , an aluminum claim 1 , a glass claim 1 , a ceramic claim 1 , or any number or combination of materials thereof.5. The razor apparatus of wherein said at least one layer of LISM layer is directly disposed on said at least one portion of said at least one razor component surface.6. The razor ...
