A high speed polishing device useful for polishing a large number of miniature components, such as multi-layer electronic components, is disclosed. In various embodiments of the present invention, a vertical planetary ball mill or other barrel polishing device is modified to rotate polishing containers having a modified interior cavity structure. This interior cavity provides a smooth, gradually curved interior sidewall that improves circulation within the container during high-speed vertical polishing rotation. The improved circulation results in polishing for a larger number of components placed within the container and in less time than existing polishing container structures. A method for determining parameters of a high-frequency vibrating mill with three grinding drums is disclosed. The mathematic modeling is established by applying the average parameter method and transfer function method; the synchronization-stability capability coefficient curve, and the dimensionless coupling torque maximum value diagram of the system are obtained by the characteristic analysis of synchronization and stability. Finally, the curves of rotational velocity of motors, displacements of mass bodies, and phase difference between exciters are obtained by the simulation, and the correctness of the method is verified by the comparison of characteristic analysis and simulation. The parameters of the high-frequency vibrating mill of the present invention can lower the technical requirements of exciters, reduce the loss of the exciters, increase the service life of the mill. Exact tuning of the frequency and clean interaction between the sonotrode and a frequency generator are particularly important. The present invention proposes that a sonic horn and a main body of the sonotrode are provided as different parts and, in this case, the sonic horn can be mounted on or in the main body in a specific manner, in particular for operation at low voltage in such a way that the amplitude or operating voltage remains below a comparatively low maximum low-voltage value, in particular 50 Vpp. The formation of heat can be prevented in this way. The present invention further relates to a control or production method for a sonotrode apparatus of this kind. In this case, it is respectively possible to extend the range of use and to improve the reproducibility or quality of the measurement results. 1. The wave transmission member includes a stud which defines a fluid guide channel with a continuous wall extending axially through the acoustic wave generator from the active point to the proximal end for guiding fluid between the active point and the proximal end during operation of the acoustic wave generator. Mounting elements are provided for mounting the wave transmission member to the casing, the mounting elements including means for acoustically decoupling the casing and the wave transmission member from one another.
