A compression strength attachment block has a tension strength attachment loop pivotally attached to the block. The loop hooks around a lever tool adjacent to a working end for enhanced attack angle and increased leverage in fastener extraction, prying, and lifting work. Magnets on a tool attachment face assist in aligning and holding the block to the lever tool. End magnets hold fasteners after extraction or before insertion. MULTI-TOOL DEVICE

A multi-tool device is disclosed including a separable hinge architecture and an open-ended wrench mechanism. The open-ended wrench mechanism including a frame member with integrated or separate outer jaw, and a sliding and rotating inner jaw, and a spring to bias the jaws closed. Various means to arrest the motion on the stroke are presented. The hinge embodies two parallel rotational joints through positive or negative orifice allowing mechanical fastening of two multi-tool modules to be paired and locked rotationally through common means in selectable positions.

Disclosed is a folding tool assembly comprising a top tool having a head and a base with an annular surface, a center tool having a head and a base, and a bottom tool having a head and a base with an annular surface. The bases of the tools may be rotatable along a common axis within a housing relative to one another. An elongated pushbutton with cutouts may selectively align with the annual surfaces of the top and bottom tools wherein the pushbutton body may be spring loaded within the housing. Each of the tools may be placed in a closed locked position and an open locked positon relative to the other tools. A hand tool, such as a hammer, has a single level for detecting levelling along three mutually orthogonal axes. The level has a bubble in a container which is rectangular and which has a domed portion. When the tool is placed along two of the mutually orthogonal axes, the bubble in the level goes t o an outer rectangular periphery of the container. When a tool is laid flat, the bubble goes to a center bullseye portion. The level has a central circular marki ng and lines for assisting a user in determining which direction is levelled.

FOLDING SCISSORS

A folding scissors of a type suitable for inclusion in a compact multipurpose tool, in which an operating lever securely engages one of the scissors blades to move it with respect to the other, and in which a spacer takes up excess clearance to keep the operating lever drivingly engaged with one of the scissors blades and to keep the sharp edges of the scissors properly close together during use of the scissors. Inclined mating surfaces are provided on the lever arm and on a hook on one of the scissors blades to keep the operating lever engaged with the scissors blade. A cavity is provided to receive the spacer when the scissors is in its folded configuration in order to facilitate relative movement of the parts of the scissors during the process of folding and unfolding the scissors.
