The fall protection surface is constructed from a number of fall protection plates laid to adjoin one another in a flush and abutting manner. Its edge fall protection plates (edge plates) have a ramp which, on its outside, runs over the entire plate thickness. The fall protection plates have a number of continuous ducts which run parallel to the plate plane and parallel to one another and which merge with one another in the case of adjoining plates. Pegs, which are situated partially in one duct of one fall protection plate and partially in one duct of at least one other fall protection plate and thus make possible connection of the fall protection plates to one another, are inserted into these ducts. Embedded into the edge plates close to their ramps is a holding strip which is passed through by continuous fastening holes running transversely to the plate plane.

The floor covering consists of individual intercoupled plastic panels with a skeleton structure. Each individual element consists of an outer frame (2-5) and latticed cross-struts (6-9), in each case at least one (6; 7) of which runs along the diagonals and in each case interconnects two of the corners. A floor lining for play and sports grounds is made of a heap of flocks of expanded polyethylene which is converted to a 3-7 cm thick fer or track by the application of meat and pressure. The flocks are joined to each other thermally but retain voids for the passage of water. These plates are butt welded to each other to form a continuous lining, e.g. by heat induced fusion. A final perforated cover is made of a filter fibre mat or of woven fabric of plastic or plastic coated metal fibres. ADVANTAGE - This creates a floor lining of high load capacity and with high abrasion resistance and a good surface grip.

A two layer foam mat is described. The raw materials for each layer are separately mixed and heated in different batches, and separately pressed through heated rollers to form a plurality of sheets. One or more sheets from each batch are stacked together in a press and heated above a foaming temperature to permit the stacked sheets to foam and expand. The press restricts the sheets from vertical expansion while allowing horizontal expansion. Once the sheets are foamed, a series of alternating teeth and receiving slots can be cut around the boundary of the mat to form an interlocking peripheral wall. The layers preferably have the same chemical composition after foaming, even though the layers are formed from different batches and may have different colors and/or textures. 1. A foam mat comprising a body bounded by an interlocking peripheral wall , the body comprising:a first layer made from a first batch of raw materials comprising a first polymer and a second polymer;a second layer made from a second batch of raw materials comprising the first polymer and the second polymer;wherein the first layer and second layer are made by (i) separately heating and mixing the first batch of raw materials and the second batch at a temperature that is below a foaming temperature of the first batch of raw materials and the second batch of raw materials, respectively; (ii) separately heating and pressing the first batch of raw materials and the second batch of raw materials through rollers that are maintained within uniform temperatures of a range of 5° C. to form a first plurality of sheets and a second plurality of sheets, respectively; and (iii) stacking, pressing, and heating one or more of the first plurality of sheets and one or more of the second plurality of sheets to a temperature that permits the sheets to foam and expand; andwherein, after foaming and expansion, the first layer comprises a first chemical composition and the second layer comprises a second chemical ...

A golf course bunker drainage system has been developed that is a modular structure taking the form of a plurality of porous bunker paver blocks formed of material exhibiting vertical and horizontal infiltration rates at least the same as bunker sand. The plurality of porous bunker paver blocks is disposed as a boundary layer between a bunker subsoil bottom surface and overlying bunker sand, allowing rainwater to drain into the subsoil, with excess rainwater directed away from the bunker sand. The use of bunker paver blocks also maintains the integrity of the bunker shape and prevents movement of sand and other materials along steeply sloping bunker sidewalls. 1. Apparatus for use in improving water drainage in a golf course bunker , the apparatus comprisinga porous bunker paver block formed of material exhibiting vertical and horizontal infiltration rates similar to bunker sand, wherein a plurality of porous bunker paver blocks can be disposed as a boundary layer between a bunker subsoil bottom surface and overlying bunker sand.2. Apparatus as defined in wherein the porous bunker paver block is formed of a rubber material.3. Apparatus as defined in wherein the bunker paver block is formed of a vulcanized rubber material.4. Apparatus defined in wherein the bunker paver block is formed of a crumb rubber in combination with a binding agent.5. Apparatus as defined in wherein a top surface of the bunker paver block is textured.6. Apparatus as defined in wherein a bottom surface of the bunker paver block is textured. Noise protection ground construction method

Номер: KR100795669B1
Автор: 고덕기
Принадлежит: 고덕기

A floor structure constructing method for interlayer noise prevention is provided to diffuse noise, to obtain durability, and to minimize a subsidence phenomenon of the ground by forming reinforcing ribs at four sides and forming holes between reinforcing ribs. A wall interlayer noise prevention plate(102) is attached to a lower end of a wall(101) of the entire edges where a slab(100) and the wall are met by using a both-side adhesive tape. Round shaped apexes of conical projections of an interlayer noise prevention material(1a) having holes(30) in which a subsidence prevention mount(40) is inserted. Reinforcing ribs are formed at four sides to form spaces to absorb and diffuse the noise. The reinforcing ribs are formed with gaps for noise flow. Holes are formed between the reinforcing ribs. The subsidence prevention mounts are inserted in the holes of the interlayer noise prevention material. A waterproof tape is attached to the entire edges where the interlayer noise prevention plates and materials are met. An aerated lightweight concrete(103) is poured on the interlayer noise prevention material. A hypocaust pipe and a finishing mortar(104) are poured on the aerated lightweight concrete.

A floor tile comprising rubber crumb and polyolefin

Номер: GB2474908A
Автор: Keith Hall, Patrick Dormon
Принадлежит: CRUMB RUBBER Ltd

A floor tile comprises a polyolefin (30-90% by weight) and rubber crumb (10-70% by weight) wherein the particle size of the rubber crumb is less than 0.85mm. The polyolefin may be polypropylene or polyethylene. The floor tile may comprise polypropylene homopolymer (41%), rubber crumb (41%; particle size up to 0.24mm), flame retarder (15%), white pigment (titanium dioxide) and black pigment (carbon black). The floor tile composition may be free from fibres and metals. Alternatively, a floor the consists essentially of polyolefin, crumb rubber (having a particle size 0-0.85mm), flame retardant and pigment. Alternatively, compositions are defined wherein the particle diameter of the rubber crumb is less than about 7.0mm. The floor tiles may be produced via injection moulding, compression moulding, extrusion or stamping.
