A typical detail has an inverted 'U' section connector (130) housing the conjunctive ends of two rectangular section pieces (116, 112) of masking. The inside walls of the connector (130) and the terminal edges of the masking sections (112, 116) have reciprocal triangular teeth (138). The sections are cut to the required length and the connection is made with a screw-fixed (144) retaining plate (169) securing the assembly.

A gate adjustment system has a bull-nose glide, a flat glide, a plurality of spacers, a gap size gauge, and a gap adjustment wedge. The glides are attached to the latch post and the latch side of a gate opposite one another. As the gate is shut, the bull-nose portion of the bull-nose glide impacts the rounded edge of the flat glide. The two curved surfaces allow the impact force to cause the gate to be lifted and pushed back into alignment. The gap adjustment wedge can be positioned between the top of the latch side and the latch post and pushed downwards into the gap until the gap is uniform from the top to the bottom. The gap size gauge then measures the size of the gap and that measurement is used to determine which of the plurality of spacers should be installed with the glides.

After traditional door hinges are used to mount a door, a door jamb lock is installed between the door edge and the door jamb. An upper wing is affixed to the door jamb. A medial barrel member has a center bore and first and second cylindrical male portions rotatably inserted into one of the female recesses, and a multi-sided center bore, such that the bores are in axial alignment. Embodiments described herein generally relate to a vehicle door glass damping system that functions like a clamp along a perimeter of a door glass when the door glass is in a closed position. The system includes an actuator assembly having a motor housing and a plunger. A motor vehicle door anti-rattle mechanism includes male and female parts. The male part is fastened to a door of a motor vehicle and the female part is fastened to a door pillar of the motor vehicle. The male part includes an expandable member that is selectively engageable with a recess in the female part in order to inhibit relative movement between the male and female parts and, hence, rattling of the door. 1. A motor vehicle door anti-rattle mechanism , comprising:a male part including an actuation member having an actuator head at a first end of an actuator rod and a body slidingly supporting the actuation rod of the actuation member for fastening in use to one of a door and a door pillar of a motor vehicle;a female part located on the other of the door and the door pillar; andan expandable member made from an elastically compressible material interposed between an end face of the body and a face of the actuator head, wherein when the male part is in a non-actuated state it is engageable with clearance in a recess in the female part and when the male part is engaged in the recess and is actuated to inhibit relative movement between the male and female parts the expandable member has a surface which is brought into contact with the recess in the female part by axial compression of the expandable member.2. The motor vehicle door anti-rattle mechanism as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the axial compression of the expandable member causes the expandable member to expand outwardly so as to bring an outer surface of the expandable member into contact with the recess in the female part.3. A ramp door closure apparatus is provided for recreational vehicles, having a recessed linear actuator both draw a cable from a mounting bracket on the ramp door adjacent to the RV opening, to raise and lower the ramp door, and then cam a locking pin fixed to the ramp door into a seal tight position after the ramp door is raised. Upon release of the locking pin from the cam when opening the door, an initial push is provided to facilitate downward rotation of the ramp door. The linear actuator is selectively detachable from the cable so as to allow manual raising and lowering of the ramp door from within the RV, by means of releasable pins accessed in the mounting structure.
