A toy bow assembly used to launch toy projectiles. The toy bow assembly has a rigid bow structure. The bow structure has a first arm section, a second arm section, and a central region. Two separate and distinct elastic elements are provided to launch a projectile. The first elastic element is anchored to the first arm section of the bow structure. A second elastic element is anchored to the second arm section. Both of the elastic elements terminate with loop structures that extend into the central region between the first and second arm sections. A toy projectile is provided that has extending hooks. The hooks on the projectile engage the loop structures of the elastic elements. When the projectile is drawn back, the elastic elements stretch and provide the spring energy needed to launch the projectile into flight when it is released.

The drivers may drive the ends of the beam to induce a steady large amplitude vibration in the beam. The induced vibration causes the beam to oscillate between two catenary-like configurations. A projectile may be loaded on the midpoint region of the beam when the midpoint region of the beam reaches a peak displacement with a near zero velocity and acceleration. The projectile may then be pushed and accelerated by the beam vibration and launched from the beam when the midpoint region reaches a peak velocity and midpoint acceleration reaches zero.

Each apparatus includes an open top drum for receiving and storing darts. The darts are tubular and formed of soft foam. The drum includes an open outer surface with spaced recesses so that loaded darts are exposed, the darts being received by a spike in each recess. A long-distance projectile throwing toy. A launching section is hingedly attached at one end to a handle section. The distal end of the launching section includes a ball holder for releasably securing a ball/projectile loosely enough to allow the ball to come flying out of the ball holder when the device is whipped by the user. The device is configurable into at least two configurations by selectively moving an angular delimiter on one section into or out of engageability with various ramped portions of the other section. A throwing configuration keeps the launching section at a minimum angle to maximize the force imparted to the projectile and thus its distance and speed. A collapsed configuration enables the launching section to be substantially parallel with the handle section thereby enabling the device to be stored or shipped more easily. An adapter system that transforms a blowgun into a fishing blowgun is provided. The fishing blowgun adapter system includes a reel mounting system which is used to selectively secure a fishing reel along a barrel of the blowgun. Underwater hunting crossbow with an elastic arming mechanism. This type of crossbow comprises an elongate body the rear end of which is provided with a stock fitted with a trigger, and the front end of which is provided with a head to channel and propel an arrow using lateral elastic ties for propulsion the front ends of which are attached or held to said head, and the rear ends of the elastic ties are connected to an arming device configured to catch on a peg or a nock situated at the rear of the arrow. The greatest disadvantage with this type of crossbow is that it can be armed only on the pegs or the nocks. The tension in the elastic ties is therefore constant because it is dictated by the distance separating the pegs or the nocks from the head. The solution proposed by the invention is an underwater hunting crossbow characterized in that the arming device incorporates clamping elements, which elements are able to move between an active position in which they clamp the body of the arrow and a passive position in which they release the body of said arrow, said clamping elements being in an active position as soon as the elastic ties are tensioned to arm the crossbow. Thus, when arming the crossbow by stretching the elastic ties, the arming device is positioned by clamping at any point on the arrow. A toy launcher for toy projectiles includes a drum having two concentric rings of holders with an angular offset between adjacent concentric rings, and motorized flywheels to launch the projectiles. The launcher also includes an assembly for pushing projectiles in the drum toward the flywheels for launch, including a separate pushing rod for each of the concentric rings to advance one projectile at a time toward the flywheels. Both pushing rods are simultaneously pushed when a trigger is pressed, but only one projectile at a time is launched because while one pushing rod advances a projectile, the other pushing rod is blocked by a structure on the drum. Successive presses of the trigger cause projectiles to be launched in an alternating sequence in which one projectile at a time is launched first from a first concentric ring, then from a second concentric ring, then from the first concentric ring. 1.
