The method of claim 1 , further comprising:coupling a second plurality of dummy TSVs of the integrated circuit device to a second voltage reference to set the capacitance.3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the number of dummy TSVs of the first plurality of dummy TSVs is substantially the same as the number of TSVs of the second plurality of dummy TSVs.4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:coupling a substrate of the integrated circuit device to a second voltage reference to set the capacitance, the plurality of dummy TSVs extending through at least a portion of the substrate.5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising spatially distributing the first plurality of dummy TSVs based on a spatial distribution of a plurality of active TSVs of the integrated circuit device.6. The method of claim 5 , the first plurality of dummy TSVs having a different depth than the plurality of active TSVs.7. Disclosed is a connection terminal, a coaxial electrical connector and a wiring structure thereof which could ensure the reliability of the electrical connection between the connection terminal and a coaxial cable core. In some embodiments, a system includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion of an electrical conductor. Each portion is electrically coupled to the other two portions. A connector for attachment to glass for connecting an electrically conductive substrate to an electric conduit is disclosed. The connector includes an electrically non-conductive housing having an interior region and an underside with a slot formed therein. The connector further includes an electrically conductive insert. A pre-applied, heat-activatable adhesive is provided on the underside of the housing for attaching the housing to the glass. Preparation of granules by making solid nuclei grow in a fluidized bed, by causing a liquid material to solidify thereon, the liquid material being introduced into the bed from the bottom upwards with the aid of a feeding device provided with a central channel through which the liquid material is supplied and a channel concentric therewith through which a powerful gas stream is supplied, which creates a rarefied zone in the bed above the feeding device, wherein the liquid material is made to exit from the central channel into the rarefied zone as a virtually closed, conical film, nuclei from the bed are carried through the film with the aid of the powerful gas stream and next, during transport of the so moistened nuclei through the rarefied zone, the liquid material taken up by the nuclei is allowed to solidify. By this process only a small amount of high-energetic gas is required, while very little agglomeration and dust formation occurs.

Contact blades ( 25 ) are erected on both side edges of the base plate ( 22 ). A pressing plate ( 23 ) that can be opened and closed confronts the base plate ( 22 ). The contact blades ( 25 ) pierce through the rear surface of the conductive path ( 11 ) of the FFC ( 10 ) and project from the upper surface thereof. The pressing plate ( 23 ) then is closed in sliding contact with the contact blades ( 25 ) at both side edges of the base plate ( 22 ) to press the FFC 10 against the base plate ( 22 ). Upper end portions of the contact blades ( 25 ) then are crimped to the side edge of the pressing plate ( 23 ). Because the FFC ( 10 ) is pressed against the base plate ( 22 ), the conductive path ( 11 ) interposed between the contact blades ( 25 ) is straight, horizontal and compressed vertically. Consequently, cut surfaces of the conductive path ( 11 ) project widthwise and contact the inner surfaces of the contact blades ( 25 ) at a high pressure.

Preparation of granules by making solid nuclei grow in a fluidized bed, by causing a liquid material to solidify there on, and removing the granules thus obtained, the liquid material being introduced into the bed from the bottom upwards with the aid of a feeding device provided with a central channel through which the liquid material is supplied and a channel concentric therewith through which a powerful gas stream is supplied, which creates a rarefied zone in the bed above the feeding device, wherein the liquid material is made to exit from the central channel into the rarefied zone as a virtually closed, conical film, nuclei from the bed are carried through the film with the aid of the powerful gas stream and next, during transport of the so moistened nuclei through the rarefied zone, the liquid material taken up by the nuclei is allowed to solidify.By this process only a small amount of high-energetic gas is required, while very little agglomeration and dust formation occurs.

A conductive path ( 11 ) is exposed on an upper surface of an FFC ( 10 ). At the rear end of the terminal fitting ( 20 ), a wavy bottom plate ( 22 ) and a wavy ceiling plate ( 23 ) confront each other such that the ceiling plate ( 23 ) can be opened and closed relative to the bottom plate ( 22 ). A piercing piece ( 35 ) whose front end is sharp is formed at the rear end of the ceiling plate ( 23 ) in about the half of the entire width of the rear end thereof by bending the piercing piece ( 35 ) perpendicularly. The terminal of the FFC 10 is sandwiched between the bottom plate ( 22 ) and the ceiling plate ( 23 ), and both crimping blades ( 26 ) are crimped to side edges of the ceiling plate ( 23 ). As a result, the conductive path ( 11 ) is bent wavily, the ceiling plate ( 23 ) contacts the conductive path ( 11 ), and the piercing piece ( 35 ) is pierced into the conductive path ( 11 ) and projects from the lower surface thereof. The FFC ( 10 ) is sandwiched the bottom plate ( 22 ) and the ceiling plate ( 23 ). The piercing piece ( 35 ) having a width in a direction perpendicular to a tensile force applied to the FFC ( 10 ) is pierced into the conductive path ( 11 ), thus providing a strong catching force and a holding force in resistance to the tensile force.

A terminal clamp, comprising two semiannular portions 1, 2, is connected to a H.V. transformer terminal post 12 by bolting together wing members 5, 8 and 4, 7 respectively, the two portions 1, 2 being provided with cooling ducts of e.g. copper (Figs. 2, 3, not shown), located in channels in the facing surfaces of portions 1, 2 and coupled by flexible inlet and outlet pipes 16, 17 of P.T.F.E. The wing members 4, 7 carry blocks 25 on which ends of flexible conductors 13, 14 are welded, the other ends being connected to e.g. generator terminals (not shown). In another embodiment (Fig. 4, not shown), the clamp is of one annular piece having a longitudinal break and wing members adjacent the break being bolted together, the flexible conductors being attached to additional wing members having internal cooling ducts. The cooling system of the terminal clamp may be in parallel or in series with a generator cooling system. The coolant is fed from a supply manifold and discharged through a discharge duct.

Terminal hardware for a flat-type conductor is provided which can provide a high contact pressure between the terminal hardware and the conductor and a superior holding force against a tension tending to separate the terminal hardware from the conductor. At a terminal end of the flat-type conductor, the conductor is exposed on an upper surface. A base plate is formed to extend from a rear end of the terminal hardware, and a top plate is provided so as to face the base plate and be capable of being opened and closed. Two pairs of crimping portions are provided forwardly and rearwardly on the base plate in a longitudinal direction of the base plate. Further, both the base plate and the top plate have undulating-portions, respectively. A front flat portion is provided on the top plate with an elongated projection extending in a longitudinal direction of the top plate and a rear flat portion is also provided on the top plate with a cut-in projection. When the base plate and the top plate receive the terminal end therebetween, since the elongated projection forcefully presses against and indents the conductor, high contact pressure can be applied and thus a reliable electric connection is provided. Further, since the cut-in projection also forcefully presses against and bites into the conductor, holding power against a tension tending to cause separation.

An electrically conducting jointing member 4 between electric conductors 3 is surrounded by insulating members 2 and 5 having a gap of uniform cross-section between them which is filled under pressure by a flexible insulating filler 6 in the form of a sleeve or sheath having, prior to insertion, a cross-section greater than that of the gap, so that on completion of the joint all air between the insulating parts and the filler is expelled. The filler is subjected to longitudinal pressure within the gap by means of a compression spring 8 acting on a ring 7, the other end of the filler abutting the conductor 4. Before assembly of the joint the filler 6 may be greased with silicone grease to ensure complete expulsion of the air. The joint may be used in a three-phase high-voltage assembly, Fig. 2 (not shown).
